I hate how Disney does sequels. Pirates of the Caribbean sequels weren't that bad, but the first was still better. It seems like they use an original idea for a story, make original scenes, and have a good theme for the first movies. Then the sequels all have the same theme (love) and they steal half their scenes from other Disney titles. Anyways, it wasn't too bad. I was hoping for it to end the way it did, but expected him to become human, so good on ya Disney.

This movie had elements of Beauty and the Beast and Atlantis and Tarzan and Mulan. But what happened to Nita's bag when she left them after burning the amulet? and what happened to Kenai's bear totem from the first movie? And why were the villagers still chasing the bears when Koda and Kenai left (or is there not a reason besides convenience for a more dramatic story)? Good movie but still, I'm confused.

@PrincesTomboy Kenai's BEAR(spirit) totem wasn't burned (it was a stone), I think it just fell off along the way =/ They burned an amulet that Kenai had given Nita when they were children as a symbol of their friendship.

@PrincesTomboy No they burned Sitka's stuff. There are three brothers- Sitka, Denahi, and Kenai. The story is about Kenai. Sitka dies saving his two brothers and they burned his things to release his spirit back to join the Great Spirits. Kenai goes to kill the bear(blah blah blah) and Denahi thinks the bear has killed Kenai, so he wraps the BEAR totem around his spear to remind him of his quest. At the end, denahi gives the toem back to kenai because he's still alive and it belongs to him.

@PrincesTomboy (2nd part) No-one can keeps someone else's totem. It isn't theirs. The only reason Denahi had it was because he believed Kenai was dead(also, Kenai kind of refused his totem after Sitka's death because he felt it was stupid). When Denahi gives it back to Kenai it shows that Kenai has become a man because his actions were lead by love. Again, it was Sitka's spirit totem they burned. He died, and the totem was... Keeping his spirit on earth, I suppose is a good way to explain.

One thing that this sequel lack a lot was the brotherhood. This was nothing more than just your typical data based romance sequel because Disney always wants their characters to be in love with somebody so they won't have to be living the single life forever.

i must say this is one of the first sequels of disney's that i really thought was well done (drawing quality, and song selection as well)

and i really love this movie too cuz it touched about other kind of love <3~ and nita sacrificed herself just for love so that kinai doesn't have to sacrifice his bond with his other family and i thought that was very sweet. even koda was willing to sacrifice that bond with his brother. i really loved this movie just as much as the first :)

Thats funny.. But the rest of the movie was kinda boring... I relly don´t understand why you all liked it so much... Its about brotherhood (brother bear?), and sore Koda is in it, but what about Sitka and Denahi (Kenias BLOODBROTHERS)? They were a BIG part of the first movie, where the hell did they go? Sore Sitka is dead, but shouldn´t Denahi be at his brothers wedding? Hello?

Is anyone OTHER then me highly disturbed that everyone in the village seems pretty cool with having a bear wedding? To me that's like marrying two dogs or something which I have seen done before (darn my crazy friends!!). Just in general the romantic tension in this film was HIGHLY awkward. I don't care if Kenai was a human first or not...to fall in love with a bear is just weird. Even if I knew talking animals I wouldn't develop THAT type of bond with them...ew lol.
