  • Cooler? FilteR?

  • Doe you still have this engine available? Probably not, I need to rebuild one and I wanted to ask you a few questions.

1 Did you resleeve the cylinders?

    2. If not why not.

    3. Any pointer on rebuilding this engine?

    steve

  • hi is this 300d engine for sale ??????

  • for sale

    ???

  • damn i wish i would've ran across this video 2 yrs. ago almost.. im lookin for something like this.. i have an '84 w123 300D Turbo.. wanted this motor for a project.

  • OM603?

That motor is good for around 500hp with 7mm pump. :)

606 rods and pistons would be although ideal for that power level.

  • This engine is fucking indistructable! :)

  • hhhhhhh...this engine works with two chocolate bottles ! ( look down of the engine ! )

  • DrMotorDude that is a bosh that you said,it is not sensitive, dont say something like THAT ever again, gas are more sensitive, besides my father has this car and the diesel motor is very quiet on it,believe me or not, this is a magic car with a magic engine.=)

  • @655neron It's true they are very sensitive to overheating. I have seen loads with cracked heads

  • I need one of these for my car but the laws of my country doesn't allow me ...

Is it true that diesel engines pollute more than gas engines ?

  • Sound (Y)

  • nice video

  • can anyone tell me if one of these engines would fit in a sprinter van ?

  • moteur 300d turbo diesel 6cylindre tres bon moteur

  • These engines (OM603) are VERY VERY sensitive to over heating. NEVER, EVER run them without water - NOT EVEN FIVE SECONDS! I would not at all be surprised if the head soon cracks.

  • The best engine!!!

  • 147 hp?

  • So in order to match the air ratio with how much fuel the injectors are pushing, don't you need a cpu to calculate it. how would a turbo work. it would make the mixture too lean.

  • Diesel's aren't like gassers... you can run them as lean as you want. I'd suggest a little Google searching, and it should make a lot more sense.

  • @Tymbrymi

    certainly not.

you need a specific air fuel ratio to make it work properly.

  • Did you rebuild it yourself?

How much did it cost to rebuild if you did.

  • location and how much?

  • Awesome engine from an awesome car!

  • absolutely brilliant. What a beautiful sound

  • um i have a 300sdl turbo diesel, but i dont know where the turbo is located, it borked.

  • @theyakuzadude follow the intake? if ur looking down at it, it should be on ur left side, way down in there.

  • @europe0wnz oh u have room to talk now do u -.-

  • wonderful

  • OM603 Sound awsomone.

  • This was a horrible engine when new. Rebuilds are usually much better.
