  • mmmm breakfast :L

  • just saying,

a dog's mouth has been proven to be ten times cleaner than a human's mouth.

  • Yuk dog wet skimpy nose on baby's mouth.

  • oh my god the dog's face is almost bigger than the baby!!

  • Lick licklick Bam HEAD IS GONE lol

  • How do you pick her up?

  • Thanks for posting. Im a shelter volunteer and the danes I have exercised are great on the leash and they were very social. I loved when the dane looked right into the camera with the ears back, cute face!

  • >.< pobre bebé.... wakala!!!!

  • Sooooooo verry cute ♥

  • baby taste GOOD maammaaa!. so cutee

  • baby so cute

  • Whitewolfwings that is how much I weigh and I'm not evern 13 yet!

  • Its scary to see such a big dog near a small cutie, anyway its a gentle giant.

  • I'll take a Great Dane over a human baby any day.

  • @00:44......"what the F*** just went up my nose!?" Hahaha

    Fabulous dog!!!

  • looks just like mine

  • My neighbor when I was little had a dane. Dog had a tail that would hit your thigh at 30 mph, and the big lummox would send you flying when he turned around. Absolutely no spacial awareness. Try telling your mom that the reason you got your new pants dirty is the dog hit you with his butt.

    Hehe... what a great vid.

  • i have a Merle great dane and she is just a sweetheart:) she is 80 pounds and only 6 monthes!!!

  • straight after this video the dog rips the baby in half and mauls the person with the camera

  • das arme Kind:s

  • Is that dog only 15 weeks? It's enormous!

  • @MrRazorblade999 Looks like a typical 4mos old to me. Maybe you have runt children?

  • @MrRazorblade999 Looks like a pretty typical 4mos old to me. Maybe you are accustomed to runt or malnourished children? lol

  • @amsjll I was talking about the dog.

  • this makes me cry, my great dane is at its peak and i know the time will come when it wont be able to get up, it hurts me but i know if i really love it i have to let my dog go with dignity rather than in pain.

  • people stop with this germ thing we are all animals and by the way anticorps need some training once in a while

  • @motorhead168 the baby probably has more germs than the dog

  • our neighbors have a harlequin Great Dane...named Moose...he is such a sweet guy...about 3-4 months old now...he gets bigger every time I see him...

  • God Dog !

  • That's one huge dog :)

  • Great danes = Very Bad Guard Dogs

    Example : this video

  • @LovingElision Depends on the importance of what they're guarding. I suspect that anyone trying to harm that baby or the owners might find themselves in a fight for their life. Gentle giant they may be, but the blind red rage of the Hulk is within them given the right trigger. It's a scary sight too.

...but as far as protecting property, you're probably right. Mine won't even protect his snacks from the neighbour's cat. Just watches and sulks.

  • A dog's saliva is antiseptic.

  • We had to buy mt little brother a bigger bed, because our great daneXnewf slept with him everynight. Danes really are the best!

  • I have a Great Dane too, He will protect the baby forever ! Cute video, Thanks for sharing.

  • Wow, someone has issues.

  • @TheEsotericDesi You are totally out of line, what the hell is wrong with you, Grow Up. You Stupid PRICK !!!

  • @jmvideo7 What did I say wrong? :-\

  • There is no Caps Lock big enough for how large I want to write 'Mwa!!!'

  • Cute dog.

  • Cool.

  • Caymus is a strange name for a baby

  • adorable :D

  • so süss und so wiederlich zu gleich

  • lmao at the baby's face when she gets some tongue in her mouth

  • Question: I've grown up with a patient, sweet, scared-of-anything and enormous Black Great Dane. When he died I felt so desperate because he was my mat(e)! When I'll have children I want them to experience the same "friendship" - according to your experience, who should come first? The baby or the dog? Thanks!

  • That dog just French-kissed your baby! :D

  • Caymus is all like 'Om nom nom baby!'

  • cuteness overload, self destructing computer

  • This is the best way for kids and dogs to bond. Too many people go over the top and keep them apart and cause problems at a later date in life. Good to see

  • which one is the dog's name layla or caymus?

  • Just to let some people know, dogs carry less germs then humans. especially domestic dogs. a baby is more likely to get sick from human contact. Its due to the variety of foods and liquids we intake. dog drinks only water, and eats few different types of foods. So there is no health danger here.,.

  • Caymus your so sweet your snogging my baby...

  • Great Danes are commonly referred to as "Gentle Giants" and with good reason. They don't have the aggressive nature that most much smaller dogs possess. They're often the best dogs to mate with children, because they instinctively know how to interact with them. It's an extreme rarity to see a cross Great Dane. They're just not wired that way folks. Baby is in better hands with this dog than she would be with a house cat or poodle.

  • @broot4u I agree with you about them not being aggressive. I have only ever heard of one Great Dane attacking someone. That was in Croydon about three years back. It was a burglar armed with a knife. So even then it was more a case of the dog defending rather than attacking. They are completely reliable with kids of all ages and are so laid back and chilled out with babies its unbelievable.

  • @tina6581 Best breed out there if you have young children, seriously. They will take about any "abuse" a toddler can throw at them and still be as loving as a teddy. Purebred Labradors and Newfoundlands are also of similar temperament. It's just not wired into them to be anything more than loveable and protective of their packs.

  • @broot4u I just commented on broot4u's comment about danes being "Gentle Giants...I had a gentle brindle dane many, many years ago...I'm reminded of a YouTube video between a dane and a chihuahua - the chihuahua was more clearly the aggressor, but the best part to me is how the dane BENDS DOWN to be on the chihuahua's level (floor level!) just to let the chihuahua (playfully) abuse him!...and then there is the (YouTube) video of the dane who is seemingly terrified by a banana peel!...

  • @broot4u definitely. ive had a few great danes and never recieved anything but licks. truly the most wonderful dogs you could ever own, just big teddy bears

  • @broot4u I cannot necessarily comment on the temperaments of all smaller dogs, butI can agree with you about danes as "Gentle Giants"...I had a brindle dane many, many years ago, and he seemed to (possibly instinctively know to) be gentle with our neighbor's small children...

  • @broot4u Just to clarify, standard poodles are -great- family dogs, especially for active, outdoorsy families. :D That said, I know a few people with Danes and they're the sweetest little pixies. :3

  • @broot4u Ehm... Not ANY dog has a aggressive nature, just some dogs turn over to a bad side faster when not treated properly.

  • @broot4u mate with children?

  • omgosh....SO CUTE!q

  • @19JerseyGirl73 - the q lol

  • what a beautiful baby!

  • The dog also eats the vomit if the baby should throw up.

  • @Lundt93 omg thats so funny

  • Do people not have anything better to do than post negative comments on everyones videos? If you dont like it dont watch it much less post a comment about it.

There is nothing wrong with letting a dog lick a baby.

BTW this is an adorable video! I love the gentle giants :)

  • SOOOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUUTTTTEEEEEEEEEE <3

  • Mmmm baby tastes nice :)

  • This is beautiful...baby loves Caymus...Caymus loves baby...watch out any germ that goes near her!! Top video, thankyou for sharing. Greetings from Australia.

  • dogs mouths are cleaner than ours (it's been proven too...)

    so chill.

  • @StrokeAndChoke agreed, a doctor told me that too some time ago :D

  • wow I would afraid that he take his head in his mouth :/

  • a dogs mouth is extremely clean... have you ever heard the expretion lick your wounds.

  • Man I miss my Dane. Great danes and pits are the most loyal dogs.

  • I had a great Dane named Paige. She lived to be 8 and a half which was a good age but still heartbreaking when she died

  • Good lord, the dog's head is almost as big as the entire baby. xD

  • My dog used to do that with me and when id walk down the driveway with my walker he pace back and forth with me and when anybody came near he always growl and show teeth even my parents.

  • non mais y a vraiment des cons partout!! après elle pourra bien pleurer quand son gosse se fera bouffer!! putain d'irresponsables!!!

  • @iroquoise07 shut the fuck up! dogs mouths are cleaner than yours, i wouldnt let you kiss my dog cause you suck a lot of dicks

  • lol that was awesome!

  • awwww so cute

  • jaja ke hermosos los dos

  • @scrotalhickey source?

  • I miss my great dane..My danes name was Layla....

  • "no he ain't mummy, he's a son of a bitch! stop licking me u gay!"- baby layla

  • I wonder if animals find human babies cute.

  • LOL, wow, that dogs head is bigger than the baby :)

  • @KhmerD0g Its a proven facts that dogs have cleaner mouths than humans. In fact, humans have some of the dirtiest mouths of all mammals.

  • @Komugikun

that is true. even if dog's mouth is cleaner and carry little bacteria, the bacteria they care tend to be dangerous.

  • Being an adult she'll have a cat

  • lmao here you people moaning over Bacteria and Germs; yes a dog licks his balls and arse but the matter of fact germs/bacteria that excist external from the dog and the enviroment the baby is in can be even more harmful - so who gives a shit if the dog is licking the mouth of the baby! not saying your house is dirty just saying bateria/germs same thing is everywhere and there no true way of killing them you can just really reduce them in numbers :)

  • hehe.. I think doggy slobber is good for any baby :)

  • adorable

  • Kids who are exposed to germs at a young age are more likely to develop strong immune systems as they get older. My dad grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, cows, and horses in his face all the time and I've seen him sick a total of two times ever.

  • @olddeuteronomy my dad grew up in the ghetto and i don't remember once when he got sick.

  • @olddeuteronomy Exactly!

  • @olddeuteronomy this is so true... most people don t know about it.... thats sad.. and they don t want their kids to be that near to a pet.. SAAAAAAAAAAAd

  • @olddeuteronomy was he really drunk ;p lol

  • @olddeuteronomy that makes sense

  • Layla is such a pretty name :)

  • nice vid. great danes are kinda unique. so big and strong, yet so sweet. 1 of my bros took his dad's dane when his dad died. so funny watching him walk her. she yanks him all over the place. lol. but she wouldn't hurt a fly.

  • I would personally be more worried about a dog biting than the bacteria a dog has (which becomes more of an issue if the dog breaks skin in a bite)

  • CHOMP!!!!

  • not to be rude but this dog SHOULD be put to sleep. you cannot get your germs in an infant like that. at least restrained please people.

  • @burlymugg Why should the dog be put to sleep? So if you got out of hand, you should be put down? (out of hand as in, greeting people with hand shakes? Hands are pretty germy). One thing to think about, the only way people get anti-bodies to bacteria and viruses is to come in contact with them. Why do you think smallpox nearly wiped out the entire native american population when europeans came over? They were never exposed when young, and so the virus ra*ped them.

  • @burlymugg why do u think this dog should be put to sleep? The Dane has done nothing wrong. Do you not think this baby will put worse things in its mouth as she gets older?

  • @burlymugg A dog licks a baby and it should be put down? What kind of monster are you? You need to restrained from ever owning a pet.

  • @djealas im sure he was just trying to be funny so that he could get his thumbs up and self worth

    right , thumbs up lol

  • @burlymugg you should be put down

  • @burlymugg Ha ha, nobody likes you!

  • @burlymugg You speak as if you were a 10 year old.Learn how to form sentences like an adult if you are going to proclaim such an ignorant thing.Do you wash your hands EVERYTIME you are about to eat something? I highly doubt you do.Do you want to know what kinds of germs are on your hands? way worse than what is it that dog's mouth. And why should it be put to sleep? Great Danes are gentle giants.moron.

  • Nothing wrong with the dog licking the baby quite cute actually. Very gentle considering the size of the dog it's HUGE. I bet they are great friends. Peace.

  • that size in 15 weeks!!

  • What a good dog . So gentle, and careful . That's what I love about Great

Danes, so protective and territorial .

  • Was cute. But i still wouldn't let the dog lick the kids mouth. Thats just gross. Other then that was a great vid.

  • You folks remarking about the dog licking the baby. The human mouth contains the vialist and disgusting amounts of infectious bacteria.

  • @tcooperent It might depend on what your dog does with it's mouth. Mine kills raccoons, then buries and let's them rot for a month in the summer heat. Once they get really gross, she digs them up and eats everything. My brother's dog loved to eat calf feces all the time. I haven't noticed too many people licking their butt every other minute either.

  • @perryfan10 lol.

  • The flora in a human's mouth is much, much worse than the flora in a canine's.

  • Sp cute. I do know about dogs having the cleanis mouths or tongues...But I do know Human, Feline and Lizrds have the most "dangerous" when it comes to bacteria.

  • @MsExoticBliss Cats? Really?? I always have my cats licking my fingers and when they succeed to steal food from my plate, I normally do continue my plate. Maybe I shouldn't? But then again, I have had cats half of my life, never had any infection problems. And lizzards? When would someone come into contact with a lizzards mouth?

  • @stellabeumer Yes cats and doesn't mean it will get you sick....a bite can be very harmful...Yes people also have pet lizards and catch them/play with them in the wild.

  • ew why would you let your dog lick her like that? i would never let my dog do that if i had a child. thats just discusting!

  • That was so cute. That's why I love Great Danes. They are a real family dog. Love them

  • I have pictures of me being like 5 months old and sleeping on my Grandma's Great Dane. His name was Bo :) He passed awwy a few years ago :'(

  • That was cute. And my dane licks my cuts all the time, cuz for one thing, they have a very keen sense of smell and he knows that I'm hurt and tries to heal me his way, and I let him. I also let him heal the wounds he gives me with those damb sandpaper paws!! lol

  • @6toobie9 I used to have a brindle dane many years ago (he died in Nov. 1980)...your comment made me think that my dane (may have) licked any wound I had, too...our own personal Canine Nightingale!...as a side comment, some persons dislike it when a dog licks them...I love it...I used to work at a restaurant in the late 70's, and when I arrived home my dane would smell the food aromas on my clothes and proceed to voraciously lick me all over...what a treat!...

  • the dog likes the new human smell

  • its sweet how its licking itt just like the dog would do to her puppies

  • Danes are so sweet!

  • hahaha lots of fun. it's amazing how care for the newborn is hardwired in mammals! great video

  • This is disgusting, dogs lick their privates. Why would you let the dog do this to your baby?

  • @fourlayer1

Dogs have an anti septic tongue. If you were to lick your baby you should worry about it getting all kinds of nasty germs tho.

  • @VikingWarCry Mmm. Maybe I should start collecting my Dane's slobber and sell it in bottles to hospital.

  • @fourlayer1 You'd be surprised by how many hands you shake that have been touching privates.

  • while I appreciate all of your concern about bacteria (HA!) everything is fine. You don't have to worry about safety and bacteria and germs. Layla is now 3 1/2 years old and everything is okay. My dog would never bite anyone she is a very sweet Great Dane. Thanks.

  • @kabookie1

i have one too, and 1.5 years old baby. :)

  • @kabookie1 how do u know what the level of bacteria is? so sweet to see the two together, but i still don't like seeing a dog licking a human baby's face. hell, that dog chews bones and licks its own balls, right? my dog has the worst "bone breath" and i won't let her stick her tongue in my face. your baby doesn't have a choice however.

  • @kabookie1 - I just love this video. I was raised with Great Danes from the time I was born and wish I could remember having my face washed by one when I was a baby. Pictures say it happened, I just wish I could remember. Your baby looks like she's having a good time and your Dane is a beauty. Such a sweet video...

  • @kabookie1 : That's funny seeing as dogs have the cleanest mouths in the world despite what goes into them. This reminds me of my 1 year old pitbull who loved nothing than to play with my 1 year old nephew. Being the only boys in an estrogen drowned family gave them both a partner in crime.

  • @kabookie1 How else is your kid gonna build up an immune system? Certainly can't do it in a sterile environment!

  • @kabookie1 great danes will break your heart 7 years max

  • @gta4fan128 yes they will :p my great dane cookie died a long time ago about when i was 5, she loved me and my family so much, she protected me always, listned always, and was always by my side... i miss her so much i cry everytime i think about her.

  • @jammyboy67 sorry if i made u upset but u got to love great danes there amazing

  • @gta4fan128 its alright, but great danes are the most amazing dog to me, just i hate the lifespan

  • @jammyboy67 same here

  • @kabookie1 yeah because everyone doesn't have the sweetest dog in the world, letting a dog get in a kids face is not smart dogs sometimes get jealous and it occasionally happens where the dog gnaws the childs face off.

  • Its such a great dog and the baby is veryy cute....its importent that you dont remove the dog if its licking the baby, dogs got bacterien in there mounth but there mounth is cleaner than humans, believe it or not..and it help him to bound with the baby, just dont let the tongue in the mounth..lool...cute video!!

  • Good for the immune system. That kid will never have allergies.

  • Dog: "Tastes not bad, actually. I'd eat it if it weren't too tiny to bother."

  • That was too adorable

  • This is adorable! You can tell what they're gonna be like when she gets older, and she will be a total dog lover. However, you never truly know when a dog can turn vicious, so just be careful.

  • The baby will be just fine, you people are making a huge deal out of this. Pussification of America........I was raised with two German Shepherds and an Afghan, got licked thousands of times...I am alive and healthy.

  • bahahah so cute!

  • OMG! Do not you know how much viruses and ilnesses can a dog like this give to such a little baby with not a strong enough immune system??? I guess not...

  • @annamasuna more like boost the baby's immune system with epic Dane dna

  • @annamasuna

I guess you don't know that the dogs tounge is clean, and although it is full of "unknown" bacteria it will only boost the baby's immune system. Worst thing the baby gets a cold.

    Djeez.

  • @annamasuna Germaphobe

  • @annamasuna A baby is more likely to catch a virus from his mother kissing him than a dog. Dog's have incredibly clean mouths because they have antiseptic properties. Humans have very dirty mouths because we don't, and not everyone brushes their teeth every day.

  • sounds like penis ???? WHAT A NAME !!!!!!!! LOL
