I saw this Exact Lineup 1 time Live at Sundance in Bayshore Long Island in 88' ,and I was shocked to see the Black Dude on Drums ,and some insane Punk Rocker (John),18 year old maniac on Guitar .It blew my Head apart. I was a huge Chili Peppers fan when I saw this on Colin Quinn's 2 Hip 4 TV. I've been looking for this for years. Thanks for posting. This aired fall of '88 and Frusciante was already in the band. Hillel passed away June 25, 1988.

Look at the drummer! The former drummer was Jack Irons, and he's a white guy. This Drummer is D H Peligro.

When Hillel died in 1988, Jack Irons quited the band. Then Peligro and Dewayne McKnight joined the band. McKnight quited soon, then John joined. Chad joined about a month after John.

So, this is John Motherfuckin' Frusciante!! Look at his tattoo on the left arm.
