The first time I beat Sephiroth was on a messed up Kh2 disk. It would freeze with Sora in the transform pose where he could not be hit, and on limits where it would never end. Ofcorse I'm not super Pro and beat him on around level 75 with No Reflects because I thought those where useless.

you know if you time cure/ra/ga at the right time, you can heal when he uses heartless angel. once you do it a couple of times, its easy cos you just heal just before he does it. still hard with his combos though :S

I felt sephirot easier in Final Mix. In the original I was in standard mode at lvl 75 with ultima weapon and spammed reflect and trinity. In final mix I was in proud mode lvl 50 with decisive pumpkin and only used reflega for the orbs and trinity in the last life bar.

Sephiroth was wayyy harder for me in kh2. in kh1 that's how I got to lvl 99, just beating sephiroth over and over again. you just need a couple elixirs and you're good to go.

The reason Seph is easier to beat on kh 2 is because the Sora in Kh2 is a beast, in kh1 he wasnt a keyboard master yet, I mean look at all the triangle attacks you get to use while fighting enemies. It's seems almost like Sora is too strong for Seph.

Even after all that, he was still a bitch to fight. My finishing blow was Reflega of all things...

The Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee should have been called the "Final Fantasy VII Committee", since all the members except Leon and Merlin are from FFVII.

Notice how Leon's the only major FF character not from FFVII? All the minor or filler ones are from the other games.

The future KH games are PERFECT opportunities to bring in new FF characters and bosses. Enough of FFVII for one lifetime. No one ever said KH had to be part of the Compilation of FFVII, even though it seems to be.

I fought Sephiroth differently than this, and my friend even more so.

My goal (as with my experience with the first game) was to stay airborne and out of range, and then use aerial combos when he teleported to me. Aerial Dodge saved me most of the time.

My friend surprisingly just spammed Upper Slash and it worked really well.

Neither of us really used Guard since it's effectiveness seemed to have worn off since the first game.

This is hard? I suppose, but go back to the first Kingdom Hearts Sephiroth. He was a beast. This version of Sephiroth seems like a push over let alone VERY predictable more than the first half of the match. He only really starts using his heavy projectile moves when he has few health bars left. I love KH2 don't get me wrong, but it felt like a button mashing game majority of the time. There were few bosses that I actually thought about a strategy to beat them. I played on "proud" mode.

I completely disagree, The hardest Kingdom Hearts boss is the Mysterious figure in Birth By Sleep, He can kill you in a single move, reverse time, strip you on your abilities, and multiply to 5 others. He is the hardest boss to beat in the series.

Also, I've yet to find a tougher boss than Sephiroth. Xemnas couldn't hold a candle to him. His speed alone would allow Seph to kick Xemnas' ass. Some people are saying Terra, but meh, we can agree to disagree on that one.

Bottom line, in terms of hardest KH boss, it's either Seph or Terra. You're choice, but it's one of those two. None of the others even stand a chance.

Lvl. 50, and my fingers hurt afterwards. My AP was modest, because I'd yet to use most of the stat up items.

Sora's my physical attack guy, Donald does all the magic, and Goofy is my defense/item user. I always make sure to (eventually) get Donald and Goofy's final weapons, but I've never gotten Sora's Ultima Weapon (didn't feel like it). I personally love the Oblivion as my main weapon, with Oathkeeper for dual wield. Their abilities compliment each other really well.

So when he's slashing his sword at you, you just press block. and break his attack. the way you do it seems pretty easy. he could beat me in like 20 seconds. and i use the same weapon as you. and the reaction command you press triangle. you made it look too easy
