well how was it horrible. it had action, a nice plot, and overall a pretty damn good movie. yeah some things were corny like the robot humping megan fox leg but comeone overall it made sense. and the end were optimus and jetfire combine, id give it an 8.5/10

The only reason people keep comparing these movies to Dark Knight is because Dark Knight like Iron Man, is an example of taking various bits of source material and infusing them into a new story that raises the bar on movie adaptations in terms of quality. Watchmen. 300 & Sin City raised the bar in terms of accurate adaptations.
Prior to these, HW has a histroy of trying to 'reinvent the wheel' or 'try to fix what was never broken' due to abuse of creative license and ego.

I don't know man...it seems like all of your complaints are on things that generally happen with movie adaptations, such as combining characters, changing relationships so that the characters connect better, etc. These things have to happen so that the movie isn't nine hours long, and so that the audience gets to see that problem- climax-solution formula that we're ALL used to. And you accepted most of the DBE appearance changes, why not the one's for this movie?

The 1st thing I wish was done differently was making Baroness remain an actually villian without the mind control. 2nd I wish they didnt tie Cobra Commander, Duke, and Baroness together like they did. 3rd Cobra Commander's mask shouldnt look so over-detailed - it looked tore up. Personally, I have low hopes for G.I Joe. As bad as Dragon Ball Evolution was, I think it was one of the better movies to be released this year. Wolverine was horrid, and dare I say, Transformers 2 disappointed me to no end, which I find to be a great shame because I really enjoyed the first live-action movie.
Transformers 2 to me was the most entertaining movie ive seen this year hell maybe in the last 5 years in my opinion. How come you dont like it? just wondering and also you have any idea when you have more reviews?
Something about TF2 just didnt sit well with me. At the time I couldnt figure out exactly what it was, but after thinking about it, it hit me. There's way too much action going on, almost to the point where the story seems to take a backseat. Characters are introduced mostly for the sake of it (Not saying it wasnt good to see them, but yeah). Also, a lot of the humor wasnt all that funny (Sam's mum spilling about his son deflowering himself made me wince).
As for my reviews, I've spent the last couple weeks steadily compiling another game review. Hopefully I'll have it up soon. I'm also planning to see G.I Joe this weekend and am going to review that as well :)

Um...Cobra didn't fall dude just because they were in jail, the movie ended on a cliff-hanger after its rise, which leaves the audience wondering whats going to happen next. The Sequel HAS been confirmed, so don't get so mad that they didn't show eneough of the bad guys when the point of this movie was just introducing them for the sequel.

I seen the movie today. And yes, I never watched the original animated series. I gotta say .. it was a very enjoyable movie!!

I don't know man...it seems like all of your complaints are on things that generally happen with movie adaptations, such as combining characters, changing relationships so that the characters connect better, etc. These things have to happen so that the movie isn't nine hours long, and so that the audience gets to see that problem- climax-solution formula that we're ALL used to. And you accepted most of the DBE appearance changes, why not the one's for this movie?

I´m not a G.I joe fan but i actually like the movie...is not the best movie ever but it was fun to watch!......fan´s most not expect to much from movies of comics or some animated series because they´ll let u down every time so don´t expect much from those kind of movies; as I expected from DBZ that it was a peace of crap!!

The 1st thing I wish was done differently was making Baroness remain an actually villian without the mind control. 2nd I wish they didnt tie Cobra Commander, Duke, and Baroness together like they did. 3rd Cobra Commander's mask shouldnt look so over-detailed - it looked tore up. I still thought the movie was pretty good though. Then again, i dont know GI Joe like I know Transformers. Transformers 1 and 2 pissed me off, because I grew up on Transformers, and Bay straight twisted everything!!!

i liked the movie personally i think that marlon wayans did a great job playing ripcord. The only problem that i had with the movie was at the end where they relied too much on special effects and cobras mask looked dumb. Other than that i thought it was good. Plus Zartan was just funny whistling he a jolly good fellow.

Rise of Cobra my ass. Cobra didnt do shit in the movie. Cobra Commander and Destro was locked up at the end of the movie. Cobra Commander should of had the hooded mask instead of some metal vagina on his face.

Personally, I have low hopes for G.I Joe. As bad as Dragon Ball Evolution was, I think it was one of the better movies to be released this year. Wolverine was horrid, and dare I say, Transformers 2 disappointed me to no end, which I find to be a great shame because I really enjoyed the first live-action movie.

Something about TF2 just didnt sit well with me. At the time I couldnt figure out exactly what it was, but after thinking about it, it hit me. There's way too much action going on, almost to the point where the story seems to take a backseat. Characters are introduced mostly for the sake of it (Not saying it wasnt good to see them, but yeah). Also, a lot of the humor wasnt all that funny (Sam's mum spilling about his son deflowering himself made me wince).

Unlike X-men origins which is the spiderman 3 of this year (at least it had a good last fight) unlike S-man 3.

Nah, I wouldnt outright bash TF2 cause it did have some good moments. The action scenes were relatively well done and I literally applauded when I saw Optimus Prime finally kicking some ass. Also, how they got Tony "Candyman" Todd to voice The Fallen, I'll never know lol.

Um...Cobra didn't fall dude just because they were in jail, the movie ended on a cliff-hanger after its rise, which leaves the audience wondering whats going to happen next. The Sequel HAS been confirmed, so don't get so mad that they didn't show eneough of the bad guys when the point of this movie was just introducing them for the sequel.

god, this is an awful review, much like , x-men origin's wolverine, the star wars pre trilogy, it's setup for the sequel my guess is they brainwash baroness to be evil again in the second film, stormsink this review is one of your worst. and I hate to say this but your standards for what makes a movie good or bad and your rating system make no sense. and really what's more important, the character and personality, or the clothes there wearing!? give me a fuckin' break.

Just got back from watching it today it was a good movie but not as great as I thought it would be after watching the trailer the only things i like were the samurai/ninja charcters because thoughs type of stuff appeal to me I really like Snake eyes and storm shadow the excelleration suites were cool Im not a fan of GI Joe so i wouldn't know if they were init or not. Also I prefer Transformers 2 to GI Joe Transformers was a awesome movie!
