  • This is awesome, it's be fun on rainy days to ride an indoor bike to if you'd slow it down just a touch. Great job with the video your love of nature and biking really comes through front and center.

  • @bonnieblue716 Thanks so much. This was a fun experiement. I'd do some things a bit differently now (and some different tech would make a difference too). Biking is so fun and I need to get back out on the trails. It's been a while and I miss it. Thanks for stopping by.

  • Is this near Rio Americano High School?

  • @washinya1 No, it's the beginning of Hagan Park traveling east toward Folsom. Rio Americano is on the other side of the river and west of Rod Beaudry.

  • @washinya1 Well, I should say that it is a little less than two miles from the High School, so it is definitely close if that's what you were wondering.

  • @lundquistco Thank You for the info.

  • the beginning part of the trail looks familiar, did you start at hagan park???

  • @natedawgninety4 You know the trails well. I did start at Hagan Park right where the dog park is now (though the dog park wasn't there when I shot these images).

  • @lundquistco

oh, ok thats what i thought

    thanks!

  • uh..a motion video would've been nicer. Invest in a HD helmet cam. These pictures do no justice.

  • @throttlehard You're probably right. But then again, an HD camera would not do justice to how the eye perceives the River in person. It's truly one of my favorite places. Just take it in context. This was a fun experiment with photos. :)

  • @lundquistco this is a great and creative way to film the river. A simple walkthrough with an HD camera would be simply boring and generic.

  • @SaypheZonE Thanks so much. It's fun to experiment too and do something different. If there is no risk, there is little learning or reward. I appreciate your encouragement.

  • the chain link fence tis not being replaced by anything {my understanding}

should make it alot easier for all the deer and other critters to get down to the river

they are also installing more trees down by rossmore just as long as there don't

get too crazy with 'new concepts' the new rancho city council has expressed

some really dumb whoppers in the past

  • @lisadiane100 I'll keep my ears open for "dumb whopppers". :) I think it'll be great to see less chain link.

  • this stretch just behind my house! I get out alot & LOvE it! great trail BTW they

are taking down whats left of the chain link yeah and has anyone else seen those 2

peacocks hanging out with the wild turkeys?

  • @lisadiane100 I love this stretch of trail. You are lucky to live near such a location. What are they going to replace the chain link with when they take it down? I've not seen the peacocks, but I have spotted the turkeys recently.

  • this stretch just behind my house! I get out alot & LOvE it! great trail

  • I used to ride this trail daily when I lived in Sacramento!! I loved it!

  • The trails are really amazing. I was just there this weekend. Hopefully you have some trails where you live now.

  • No, when I left there, I sold my bike.....miss it though. No trails here just for bikes. I had a really bad accident flying down the hill from Folsom Lake once......the light blinded me and I ran into the side of a hill!!

  • Ouch. I know the hill you're talking about. You can get some speed going down that one.

  • not bad at all, pretty amazing :)

  • Thanks so much!!!
