Why the hell cant criminals vote? Explain that to me. They are Americans, maybe they shouldn't be discarded. Most "criminals" come home after paying their debt to society. Why shouldnt they get to vote. I consider this right to be inalienable. Use your vote to cancel theirs out, but let them vote.
@chrisdunn421 It's just one more way the right keeps black people from voting, and (thanks to the inequality of our economic system and a heapin' helping of racism, "convicted felons" includes a whole lot more black people than the general populace) they love anything that will keep blacks away from the polls. The sick new way to do this is "Voter ID" laws many states are trying to shove through.

You wonder why this never made television in the U.S? Because it's false...
The election was close between Bush and Gore. Gore demanded a recount in Flordia several times and still lost. The supreme court eventually stepped in and stopped the recounting. Bush won. Get over it.
What you fail to understand is that its not a matter of counting the votes so much as the sheer number of people who were one way or another, "incapable" of voting. Either by being called criminals, or not getting ballots, etc.
Both parties lie and cheat. One gets power and fucks things up, until people turn to the other side, and then they do the same. At first they blame the old party for the current problems, until that excuse gets lame. A two party swapping dictatorship.
Bush did not steal the election. The vote was really close, but he did not steal. Gore asked for recounting, but only in a few counties of Florida, instead of the entire state. Selective recounting is not allowed in an election. Why? If something is wrong in one part of a state, then something else could be wrong in the rest of the state. When the Supreme Court stepped in, they did not declare Bush the winner, they just ended the recounting. Recount the whole state or forget about it.
