  • beautiful

  • Interesting video (without sound).

  • Is that Kaminoda Sensei (at police jojutsu reel)? He's great, met him in Brazil once.

  • I wonder how well these would work with a kodachi. I love the techniques for the sword

  • VERY cool. I don't see movements or techniqiues like this anywhere else!

  • Great music :S

  • The actual video has a proper soundtrack but also narration. It's a pity this preview couldn't have put a new soundtrack over it instead of using a snippet of the narration free music

  • great music for a great clip

  • funniest sound track ever for something like this!

  • The Music Stuck In My Head Now!..

  • lol at the music

  • the looped audio is pissing me off but the techniques are very cool.

  • great video, great technique but the soundtrack really does not fit the content. sorry but its true

  • Ditto

  • the background music is a disrespect to these masters!

  • Really nice video but the sound track is a bit annoying after a minute.

    still, *****

  • great vid. :)

  • Can anyone identify the performs of the Muso Shinto Ryu? It looks like perhaps it is a Japanese practitioner with the jo and a foreigner with the bokuto.

  • If he is a foreigner then it might be Phil Relnick Sensei.

  • The Japanese performer MIGHT be Hiroi Sensei.

  • I practice the staff. the staff part is simply perfect. I love it so much!

  • It might be just me... but doesnt it look like Hiroi sensei in the white (SMR part)?

  • SMRJ*

  • Sure looks like him.

  • Good clip but the constant skipping is quite annoying :)

  • The actual soundtrack isn't like that, but there's narration to it, so they had to loop the audio for this preview. The proper thing is 25 or so minutes long. But I remember seeing this before getting the full thing and being irked by the looped audio.

  • belle tchnique de combat

  • great staff techniques! :) very clean

  • very nice... especially muted :)

  • Yes, the Iaido looks like Muso Shinden Ryu (or other Eishin Ryu derived art -- they cut out the noto, so can't be sure).

The koryu jo is Shindo Muso Ryu.

Too bad it doesn't name the practitioners.

  • After all the ninjer and XMA crap we finally get some real iaido and jodo. Great stuff, keep it up.

Just wondering, who are the men performing? The iai looks MSR.
