  • can you tell me please, the W80 and the T30, which is better, not considering the price but the aperture range and image quality in general?

    Thank you

  • Hi emokhtar,

thanks for asking. We are here to help you on your decision to buy.

About the aperture range, the T30 has the biggest aperture between 3.5 and 4.3, and the smallest is around 6.3 and 19.0. The W80 has more light on its lenses, since it shoots from 2.8 (very good for low light conditions) to 5.2, and has the smallest aperture between 5.8 and 17.4.

    ...

  • Nevertheless, none of these cameras has a manual exposure mode. They both have pre adjusted scene modes which is easier for people who don't know much about photo technics, but deceiving for those who are expecting to develop their photo skills.

We hope we had given you the information you were looking for.

    Best regards,

    BuscaPé

  • and ehat about the image quality? W80 or T30? i want the final answer, you know what i mean, not considering the price, is there a compact digital camera(i mean not DSLR or any something huge) that has manual exposure and manual controling the shutter speed, does it really effects the quality of picture? a lot of questions, u r my only guide right now

  • To be honest my friend,

If you really want to exercise your photo technics, take a Canon, like the G7 or A710. Sony has excellent products, but mostly focused on consumers that don't really care about setting up aperture or exposure.

That would be my choice, but if you love the brand Sony, one good camera could be the DSC H5. It is a litle bit bigger than the others, but has manual settings for exposure and aperture.

Hope we had helped you now.

    All the best,

    BuscaPé
