I love Sam Cooke, he was one of the best musicians around back then. I don't understand what black or white has to do with the Presidency. a man is a man regardless of his color, no Obama is not the worst or best President but he started with the crap that was handed down from generations before. Actually, if you do your homework as I may have told you, I am correct about all of what I said pertaining to politics.

Everybody, almost, who is over 50 and into Sam Cooke and in the music business, knows what Sam was writing about. Sam was responding to Dylan's Blowing in the Wind. Sam knew what was going on between blacks and whites, and so were the Kennedys, which is why Bobby had to puch Jack on the isue. Sam wanted to write a song about what was wrong without looking too political.
