I've just finished watching both parts to this, and you never really understand what scientology has done till you see someone involved come and speak about it on an emotional level. I don't know if Tory sees this comments, but if she does, I just wanted to say to her - you're an amazingly brave person. To admit to your mistakes and your shortcomings is more than most people will ever do. That is a mighty thing to do. The victims of scientology are so lucky to have you on their side. It's true that Scientology sends out hit squads to silence former members.
After spending thousands of dollars and supporting the church for many years, I was declared an SP after I voiced my concern about church policy.

Neitzche stated that the world is bad and ugly because Christians have believed it so. "Good" and "Bad" are banners which are weighed by our overdeveloped consciences. I think the world is good and beautiful and awesome. Look what we have done and created . . . the mass of humnaity is good. Individuals who try to control and enforce their dogma are bad.

I'm not talking about the world. I'm talking about people, who wages wars for political and monetary gain under the guise of religion or spreading a prevailing ideal. It doesn't stop with religion. People have killed in the name of democracy, is *that* evil? No. Religious and political ideals are catalysts for people to kill, ultimately.

Most Christians believe that the world is wonderful, miraculously beautiful and exemplifies God's love for us all. He sacrificied his Son that we might shed the curse of evil and dwell in His house for ever. The earth is a mere snapshot of that wondrous place called Paradise.

He created us in his likeness. My belief is that God is Good, God is great and gave his only begotten son so that we should have eternal life with Him.

I wonder if the Hollywood celebrities who are Scientologists already know that this is nothing more than a money making, tax evading scam, to con the "poor folks" out of their money and their hard working lives? I have also read "Bare Faced Messiah" on the "Operation Clambake" website. Very informative and interesting history on L. (Lying?) Ron Hubbard...And all Scientologists rever, admire, respect, even worship this man. :| And Tom Cruise and all the rest of the celebs who are a part of this "religion" should be forced, if necessary, to 1. View this video and 2. Read "Bare Faced Messiah", though, there are other biographies written about Hubbard, too.
