Watch the ball all the way to the catchers glove and beyond. I have had catchers take the ball and scuff it against their spikes as they are pulling it out of the catchers mitt and ready to throw back to pitcher in 1 motion. Remember these guys love to cheat. Also, slow down your timing.
Are you in the slot? Why are you in the Box Stance? Take you arm that is on the batters side and make a fist and pull in close to body just above your crotch... Use your other hand and take your thumb and index finger and squeeze enough to lock yourself in place just about your knee. This will do 2 things give you the same strike zone all game and also not put so much stress on your lower back.
Everything looks good, but do you really put your hand behind your back? As an ump, your going to get hit, It just looks bad with the hand behind the back...
Take your mask off with your left hand only!

Do not put your hand behind your back, that screams rookie.
Do not turn to the side on the strike call. That is when all the crap happens (dropped 3rd strike, catcher/batter interference...)
Why do you look at your fist when you call a strike?
Buy a bigger umpire shirt.

Everything looks good, but do you really put your hand behind your back? As an ump, your going to get hit, It just looks bad with the hand behind the back...
And timing is too quick on strike calls....
Called 3rd strike looks good, but again ,
