Its good we have self-proclaimed "intellectuals", like you, to straighten things out. You mention "White Privilidge". What about you, and "Black Privaledge" I worked full time, and went to trade school part time, since I was 17. Here you are getting the full ride, a professional student, hanging out in coffee shops, trying to rub up with the Shakesphere crowd, and then throwing up the race card. When I was your age, I was working 60 hours a week. I still work hard.
Mr. Steve, let's get two things straight, right off the bat, so that you can stop embarrassing yourself with your complete lack of information. 1) I've never claimed to be anything, intellectual or otherwise. The video that I posted about "White Privilege" spoke to a series of sociological observations... nothing more. As for your assertion that my education situation is somehow a "Black Privilege" I laugh at your foolhardy attempt to cheapen my academic pursuits.
In case the curiosity hits you to seek out the truth, I'm one of 9 grad students (7 W, 2 B) who all work on fellowship while we pursue our Masters.... My fellowship covers my tuition but I do teach and have taken 1 loan to cover additional expenses. No one is handing me anything. I've never thrown up any race card, but if you're interested in finding that truth for yourself, feel free to watch my video about the infamous race card.
I commend you for your past works... it's unfortunate they've not awarded you the peace of mind to ensure you've no need to come on YouTube making outrageously ignorant statements about things you know nothing of. And if we want to play the who's been working where longer game, I can tell you I had my first job when I was 12... I worked through high school, carried 3 jobs while getting my Bachelor's Degree (Going to school FULL TIME) and still managed to graduate with a 3.8 GPA.
It's kind of ironic that graduation rates have gone down, I mean are there any teachers left that don't curve the hell out of their tests? Are there any teachers left that don't give "extra credit" or "drop the lowest test grade?"
Yet still, students confront their teachers in droves at the end of the term and try to talk their way into better grades, giving all kinds of reasons why they should pass the course.
Wow, my friend you are an extremely deep thinker. It is VERY hard to find people like you. It gives me hope in the future of this county. I left school because the system was spoon feeding students A's & B's. I decided to take the GED and pursue my life. No matter how difficult it will be since I left school. In this country there is always a chance for redemption.
I agree that redemption is always around the corner but there's something in this assertion of yours about the spoonfeeding of A's & B's... I've seen some interesting things take place.
Excellent points made. These are real issues that have not been addressed, 58% black women are single. I'm sure the number of single women in generally is going to keep rising...

No wonder listening to you is awesome. You've taught before, probably a professor.

I agree that we have a BIG problem in education and in food especially.
Makes me wonder if we can take out elements like high-fructose corn syrup and see a substantial cost decrease in the process.
Good video.

Guess it doesn't pay off.
