@mirzamarco She was pregnant at the time of this performance, that's why she's not singing so well. When Dale was sixteen she met Frank Zappa backstage at a club. Frank liked her voice and he cleary thought she could sing or else he wouldn't have put her on his albums. He thought her voice would make her a household name. He was very particular about who his musicians were.

I believe this performance was in November '91 -- truth be told, Dale can only remeber how bad the weather was, and the year. I'm basing the date on captainmelio's reply to dojonane.

Frank passed away in '93. I was born in March '92.

Well, for those who need a little back ground: 1)

this is a Frank Zappa tune. 2) that's Mike Keneally singing and playing lead guitar ( he was hired on after Steve Vai left Frank's band) 3) Dale did some session work for Frank where she had meet her future husband Terry Bozzio who played drums for Mr. Zappa --this is the connection to why Mike & Dale are sharing the same stage covering a Zappa tune -- although, it does appear that Dale is having trouble remembering the lyric's :-)
