@PineShadow13 actually, i think they're doing what is called "self-annointing". When they come across something in their environment that smells different, they'll chew some of it, froth at the mouth, then contort/twist around and spread the froth on their quills. Scientists speculate that this is to cover their scent to avoid predators.

They are cute, same Pinto color as my old hedgie Pokey. They look very friendly too, like Pokey. My current hedgehog, Quillson, is standard color, has no ears (were chewed off when he was a baby), and is often grumpy and skittish, but he is pretty photogenic and loves to swim in the bathtub.
