@KMxHearts Me 2 i want to help the krogans, but on the other hand, i think they aren't ready for it, they gonna be MAD on the rest of the universe if we cure them, but on the 3th hand if they make up the numbers they could make a big help against the Reapers!.. Dilemma! :S

wrex is the best ally ... even though he is a hybrid ( biotic and fighting skills ) he has soooo much HP ( and deff skills ) also he has biotic barrier and a few good biotic attacks warp and throw... and he can even master rifle and shotgun... he is by far one of the strongest fighting charakters

I didn't know Wrex could die the first time I played Mass Effect. I helped him find his family's armor, so he trusted me even though I didn't have high charms or intimidation. So kids, don't forget to talk to your crew before going on important missions! :D

I wish there was an option to join him to find/steal the cure to genophage and save his species.

I always thought it was a little unfair his species got infected .. even if they were bad.

Agreed, it was the one thing that I wish I could speak to the council about, even if it would be just for kicks.

Mass Effect lacks some of the "you can do almost everything" feel of the original fallout series, in the end the choices you can make in Mass Effect are pretty limited.

true but the problem with giving the player total choice over everything makes storytelling very difficult since most players games will be different ... they have to set some rules and choices in stone or else a sequal would be a mucky mess of multiple storylines

I know what you mean. I'm not demanding an infinite amount of choices. Having said that, KOTOR games had more of a "you really do influence things" feeling. Even much older RPG games like Planescape:Torment or the original Fallout had a much greater spectrum of choices to make. I'm not saying its easy, but it should have been done better in such a big-budget game like Mass Effect. Genophage is just one example, but many players have just the same feelings as I did, hence I used it as an example.

well you can make him live... if you choose the blue text or red text

@maxdude2693: I killed him also but then i reloaded my save file and selected the text that would let him live. The only reason that i can see that it would not give you the option to let him live is because your character was probably structured as evil. If you play evil then the game may limit the amount of good you can do.

You need to increase your Charm or Intimidate to unlock the conversation option(s) that will calm Wrex down.
