I lived at Vista Way in Fall, '92. I think I was in 1701. This video brought back some good memories. Sadly, it doesn't look like they've changed much in all these years.
watching this seriously makes me so sad. i remember those first few days, being so nervous but so excited to meet new people and start the experience. it's been almost 2 years and i'm still pretty close to people that i met while there. you seriously make lifelong friends. if you ever get the opportunity to do a program, seriously do it. you won't regret it!
@mikivis - when? i knew a couple of people who worked concierge when i was there spring 2010. pretty sure everybody that worked there then has moved on though. you know how disney is, always moving people around. i seriously miss it so much. i wish i could go back.
wow so many comments that i never responded to haha.. @LenoreSThompson, i'm sure you're there by now, so you know you don't get to choose where you work.. Y & B wouldn't have been my first choice, but after being deployed at a few other resorts, i'm very thankful that's where i was put. I'm going to visit Y&B in January.
@atalina08 - I honestly have no idea haha only one of my roommates worked in AK, but I never heard anything about MM shaped waffles.
Wicked Jealous! Way back in the Day...lol....2006...we had horrible furniture, and carpet...they were just starting to make over Vista Lay, and Patterson was still a thought- went back down in 2008 as a Professional Intern- and they just created Patterson....Just went down for a Disney Wedding, for my two friends (me on the College Program (1 was my roomate, lol) both still cast members.... And we stayed at the Tree House Villas (once an ICP complex!)...Enjoy it while it lasts!
Nice aparment.. I check in feb 8 i gonna work in quick restaurant service-kitchen only i'm a little bit nervouse because i'm from Puerto Rico and my english is not perfect..
we like it so far.. our internet didn't work for the first 48 hours hah we had a faulty modem, but its fixed now.. you'll hate traditions; its super long and boring.. but we all start training tomorrow. add me on facebook; emily thomaswick :)

i lived at vista way too =] i worked at yachtmans steakhouse. UGGh uniforms were so hideous but nice resort! did you have a good time?
