why did you put a kilswitch on a squire? just wondering good cover. just figured youd save up and get another guitar then get a killswitch for it. i play killswitch stuff without a killswitch on my hellraiser by turning a pickup completely down (off) and using toggle switch as killswitch. if i ever get a les paul ill put a kill switch on it

how do you get that tone for the intro?

just hammer on the note.

starting with the volume low

then you increase the volume on the knob

and you should get a simmilar tone.

also depends on what distiortion you use

dont use a heavy distiortion

went by ear, i didnt like the tabs, although i checked a tab just now, and they are pretty much the same except for the wah wah where i dont play the fourth fret on the d string, i just stick with the first 2 strings - if that makes any scence. lol

i got it at a store called the source, but if you live in the states, if go to radioshack. its called an "on, off" switch. lol if u wanted to find one just search it up on google.

live is standard and the recording is a half step down. i bought an "on off" switch and wire it in myself. theres is also videos of how to do it.

If it's a toggleswitch, was it easy to install? I know how to install a pushswitch. They're just killswitches put not as good. its a 2 way switch actually. one side os on and one side of off. pretty much as simple as that. its the exact same deal as insatlling the pushbutton, i bought the wrong push button and when i bought the button i decided to buy the switch just incase i had bought the wrong switch so it ended up working out good i installed the switch. thanks alot! i appreciate it

I've got another question. Can you still do the bulls on parade solo with a push button? Does it still make a noise if you push it with all strings open (Like in the original bullet in the head solo)?

the switch dosent make the stings do anything. u have to hammer on the note in order to get the killswitch effect. techinacly the guitar is playing the same as you would with a pick, you are just using the switch to kill the power. a push button will work yes.
