two things i need help on, if ur right in thier face with the shotgun do u use the 1 shot or the 2 shot, and how did u do 3:48 did u use scroll wheel or do you have buttons for ur guns to do that? thanks

@lsdarksoul hahaha. I was a new born noob when I wrote that comment. Since then a "pro" came into my friends server, raped us, and started showing us some really cool tricks including ricochets. I was hooked, so he took me over the "The Warfare Arena" where I got introduced to pro gameplay. @monsimand I record at a high frame rate, then render in a lower one on vegas so in, lets say, 30 fps, you see 600 interlaced frames, giving that motion blur effect.

@Hertz35 you have to record from that demo the stuff you want to appear on your video. If you need instructions on how to do that google "Anx movie guide" or look for holy moly's movie guide on hl2dm university.

Epic! The first song is my favorite Pendulum song. :D I have a question. How did you manage to record the footage to add the motion blur? I understand you record at a high framerate and everything, but what method for recording did you use. When I use source recorder, the AVI file breaks pretty quickly.

@darkpivotstudios you don't have to record an avi file, you have to record the .tgas with a .wav file [ ! ]

@0nti When I export the video using that method, and put it into sony vegas, the video clip is way too long, and I can't shorten it enough to fit the audio.

@darkpivotstudios there is no need to make it fit the audio as long as you set the right framerate on virtualdub :o

If you use for example host_framerate 500, you have to compile the tgas and wav file on virtual dub at 500 fps too.

@DevilXBigBossX it's called smoothing. You do it with the smooth button on the demoUI. Look around there are a couple of good tutorials on the subject, like the one from infected productions.

@V1shty I don't use 3D max. Motion blur was done recording at a higher framerate, but in some cases I'm not very convinced it ended up well....

Although I never finished the video, and the only "watchable" part is the first one, frags sent were good and I appreciate the words.
