Actually, there are 6 dance moves: The Point, Hippity Hop, Walk N Place, The Stomp, Hot Foot, and Raver Punch. I think the contest is really about the originality of the creature, and the comedy of watching it move in odd and funny ways to music. I wonder if there will be additional Spore video contests in the future?

I've been to the Smithsonian, and it is a very cool place to visit. But I agree with you that it does seem sort of random. Just throwing out an idea here...how about a trip to the Maxis development studio, and have a personal tour of the facility guided by Will Wright! Meet the engineers & artists behind the scenes of Spore. Or, becoming a game developer for a day! Pitch that cool game idea you've always had! How great would that be?!?! To be honest, I'd be thrilled to win any type of prize! =D

SecuROM has nothing to do with the leaked edition. It was also not labeled an illegal copy. It was simply an early leak of the already-free version that came out today... which means everyone that has it can now reconnect to the Sporepedia normally, as the CC has officially launched.
