WOW... It's ignorant RELIGOUS "Christians" that have really pushed the world away from accepting Jesus as their Lord and savior. There is nothing wrong with this at all, infact, if there are no Christians in secular Venues like this, then who will there be to share the love of Christ to them?? Hats off to him For stepping out and not staying in the typical christian box that has restricted christ for decades!

actually coffey got to choose his own songs because of his faith...i met him this weekend and he told me himself. everyone has they're ups and downs...but at the end of the day he was on the show, and we weren't, so we don't know what its like to be there. and when it comes down to it-we all know the guy can frickin sing! :)

I am a fan of Coffey but yo, this was not good at all. I never thought Coffey could sound bad singing anything.

reason ppl get 10th is because ppl arent judging his singing talent and the judges seem to weed out the really good ppl in the contest...most ppl didnt vote because he isnt singing the typical i'm a drinker,woman chaser, outlaws hillbilly junk...thats why he got 10th....in my book he is numero 1!!!1 so bite that to all the haters

it's Nashville star and what he sings is not country. his music is great and he has a great voice, but he really needs to stop calling himself country cause he is NOT AT ALL. I dont know why he WANTS to be country. He does R&B great, keep it that way.

I think that he seems uncomfortable because the judges are trying to change him. He should sing his originals. He is really good and the judges are telling him to tone things down. I think working with the judges as mentors is stupid.
