Her voice is lacking because she doesn't have the same breath quality as in the studio. Her voice will obviously sound ten times better when she's standing there singing rather than dancing around the stage, which is true about anybody. If you watch some of her acoustic performances where she is simply sitting at the piano you'll see what I'm talking about.
