Jean Marc Lederman is the half of The Weathermen:great duo.Remember the megahit 'Poison'. Their cd "Beyond the beyond" is outstanding good! Check it out!
Saw FAD at Rock City Nottingham early 80's... a scream, he ended up covered in shaving cream and climbing all over the speakers on stage.. one of the funniest things I've ever seen at a concert, brill
@jockojonson17 : Don't be fooled, you had to be lucky to catch a show with music like this on European TV. Most of the time it was pop music galore. Not bad per se, but this was usually on late night.
@Efrasnel Not entirely true: this show where Fad appeared on was on every week early evening, and the UK had the Old Grey Whistle Test, Holland had a few interesting shows too, so it wasn't rare nor shown at impossible hours. Actually, when MTV started in Europe a few years later, the shows they were putting on covered a lot of the alternative scene.
Jeeze, I saw Frank live many times. At Billys, at Crocs and even in fucking Belgium (Long story). This video, although brilliant doesn't do justice to his live act, which was kind of like an electro Iggy Pop. Sadly missed having died in recent years. Poor sod. Nice one Frank.
Ahhhh...more memories of Saturday nights at the Padded Cell in Down Street, Mayfair. There I was plastered in make up thinking I was Mick Karn, posing with a Gitanes cigarette and dancing along to this track....happy days.

My god. American TV was so damn lame compared to Euro. This kind of shit would had no chance in hell of being on US TV.

That's not necessarily true. We had public access.
