hmmm how would explain the throat hit comparing a red to light...... i heard that if you buy a light it is a waste of money as the taste is almost the same and the filters are longer so the cig is much shorter

Marlboro Lights are much more smooth and less harsh than a red. Reds have more nicotine and are much harsher than a light. I just researched a little about marlboro products and reds have 1.2 mg of nicotine as to a light has .8 and an ultralight has .5 mg of nicotine in them.
