@thecico12345 I really don't know but something often said about bikes is that it only matters a little since they always have low miles. Millage on bikes isn't generally a big issue but If I was you I would do a quick google search to find out what the average miles on the bike would be. I know cars it's 12-14k a year. You're in Texas so you have more bike weather too so take that into account too. Also join the kawiforums Good people there.

@ShuddupChip I'm pretty low in miles. I'm at 3700 I hate to admit it but a girl in our group who bought her same year GSXR600 only a couple months after me, has much more miles. This year I've been living at a new apartment without internet, and I had school, and been doing art, so I haven't been riding with the bike group as much as I'd like.

did the fi light come on when you removed the cat and pre chamber. It doesn't seem like it should because the O2 sensor is right in the header. Just wondering. I'm getting the Comp Werkes slip on myself. Will put up a video.

@alfonso0421 If I understand you correctly, yes, I put the stock pipe, the pre-muffler, in a box stored away in the basement. I'll probably see if I can sell it on ebay.

Why on earth would you modify a bike you don't ride?

I put 600 Miles on my first bike in the first day.

I guarantee when I pick up my Ninja I'll put 200 just for fun within 5 hours...

This makes me sad, now you're selling it? What a waste of a perfect machine...

PS: If your exhaust is that loud, turn the idle speed down. No way your ZX6R should idle at anything above 1000.

@HasJuice I'm not selling the bike. Why did you think that? I was selling the exaughst because it was too loud. Way too loud but everyone likes it and compliments me on so I'm just keepin it for now. Turning down the idle speed isn't the way to fix a loud exhaust. The bike would just die out anyway if I did that. It was warming up. I mentioned that. I don't know how much you know about mechanics but idle is automatically up on warm up until warm then it goes down to normal lvl. It's FI.

@TheFutureLooksGrimm I don't know how much you understand about basic engine mechanics, but higher RPMS mean your engine is revving higher while stationary, making your motorcycle louder. A maximum 1000RPMS A: Makes your bike quieter when stationary, is better on your engine life, and makes your motorcycle more responsive from a stop as the clutch will actually engage properly. A Carburetor-equipped machine requires warm up, a Fuel Injected motorcycle does not. Hench no choke.

I'm just weirded at the sug. The idle is perfect & lowering it would be a bad idea. There is no way lowering the idle is going to remedy it. It will die. I don't think you realize how loud it is. The M4 pipe is barely a muffler. Thanks for the sug though.
