I can't figure out where you read the alarm Peter. Here Gabey just had his 2nd major successful operation & he had like 3-5 failed attempts to get him off E.C.M.O. & C.V.V.H. this week. He was running out of time tho the operation went well. He was a bit stressed so they had to give him paralytic med to keep him calm & despite his meds, he would fight to try to see us & communicate with us. We would have another miracle the day after Xmas when they finally successfully took him off ECMO & CVVH.

It was Exactly on 0:45. I know what ECMO is, but what is VCCH?
Did they ever try the High Frequency Oscillating Ventilator?

Thank U Peter for all your support. Sadly Gabriel got tired after 55 days courageously fighting for his life and he died on 12 Jan 2007 from complications due from the C.D.H. We are all, deeply missing him... Much Love & Many Blessings, Rose

I deeply miss him as well, even though I haven't met him in real life. U are on the very very VERY top of my prayer list.
