If you you never been there you never know, all tigers never been drugged. I am from Sweden and I lived in the temple almost six months just wanted to see what all monks does to all the tigers. TEACHING was what monks does to all tigers. GO to thailand and check for youself.

People go to these places and think its natural for these animals to want to be stroked while being chained up! As if these animals like being drugged too! NOT! SO CRUEL AND SO SAD!! LET THEM GO FREE!!!!!!

im surprise by the numbers of uneducated people here, it least before you comment sth get ur fact right. Tigers hunt at night, they are bad sighted during the day. Just like cats they like to sleep. How can u say u care for the animal if you dont rly know the facts about them :s.

I find it a little sickening that people go to these places and think its natural for these animals to want to be stroked while being chained up, these animals are abused to make the animals submissive, i have just come back from Thailand from working with a rescue center and have seen many of these tigers been abused, by going and stroking these beautiful animals in a non natural way you are decreasing the tigers in the wild, its tourists that make these animals endangered.

I care a lot about animals, and seeing endangered animals in an unhealthy environment disheartens me, and I can understand people's rage. But what are some of you people saying all Thai people are bad? We're humans, just like you. There is always a bad person, but there are good people, too. Not all Thai people hate animals. For instance, elephant village in Kanchanaburi helps the animals that were previously abused. You may see abuse, but you can see those who help animals, too, there.

We went to this place in jan.2012. The tigers were doped out of their minds.

We feel really bad about supporting this place and I hope others will thing twice about going after reading this. Don't go to the Tiger Temple.

We've also seen tigers at Phuket Zoo, Chiang Mai Zoo, Dusit Zoo in Bangkok, Koh Samui Aquarium and Tiger Zoo and Tiger Kingdom ind Chiang Mai. The best place is Tiger Kingdom, which felt soo much better. If you really want to see tigers, Tiger Kingdom is the place to go.

Kachanaburi Temple is killing the tigers in a slow miserable suffering death. When you feed

drugs into a healthy body, it will deteriorate in time causing pain and suffering to the animal.

Keep your money and have this place shut down and the tigers go to a sanctuary. I tell you

TIGERTEMPLE IS RIP OFF !!!!!!!I have been to Kachanaburi and people there told me not to go to the tiger temple because they drug and violate the tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!

I tell u the truth about this, anyone noticed that these beautiful animals just lay down and dont make any move at all. It's because they druged, the people who ''works'' there drugs them so stupid tourists like you and me can go there and pay them money so we can be among these animals. what we do exaclty is that we help this people to continue with this madness. People is not meant to be among lions/tigers and neither should tigers be among people.

Tiger temple is a scam opertation with no care and no real plans to complete the Tiger Island project. Money talks and Tigers are slowly shuffled and replaced by tigers with the same names, sending off old tigers to be sold for medicanal purposes. Tigers at this temple are illegally traded and bred. Cross breeds will not provide decent offspring, if they provide at all. This place is the biggest joke hiding behind the face of buddah.

i didnt read the comments below, believe wat you wish. Mediation had helped me tremendously while I was in college. I had a hard time focusing and had anxiety problems. Mediation from a Thai Monastary in D.C. had helped me overcome these circumstances. I never had thought mediation wouldbe benificial in my life. I would like to thank so much for introducing me to meditation. I will do the same and teach others what I have learned.
