Why do people like OS..., ISK... guru's and Mr.Chopra always settle in west and preach and spread spiritualism /mediation / unique religion etc., in a developed country! when their home place /many other country is still suffering ... more than the west society. it's told that minimum necessity (in Western society) are luxury for (East), where family earns less than one $ to survive for one day. They can do something more apart form opening a rehabilitation center in those affected areas.

Now that requires certain level of IQ to understand, that i suppose u dont have. Its not possible to teach ignorant people of south east who r getting too much influenced by islam n r becoming violant, contrary to this western people understand these things easily. They settle in west coz they r respected there while in east very few people listen to them. If u dont like u r not forced to listen to him or any other Gurus.

Mr. Chopra is trying to spread his message world wide, and in order to do that he is focusing first on the most powerful form of communication in this day and age. The media.

First we must enlighten the ones who are enabled by their wealth and power.

Then they can use their resources to reach out and enlighten others who aren't in a situation to do it themselves.

Im just trying to guess here, but my guess would be that they come to the west not because of money, but because ideas. The West is the most socially conditioned society on the globe, therefor I would say that we are more out of touch with our true spirits than someone who has less "material" items holding down the conscience. The West needs this kind of wisdom... it's about wisdom, not money or anything material.

Could Dharma be of help to the millions of starving people in Africa and other deprived parts of the world.

This is not intended to be a cynical question, it's an inconsistency in my mind that I would like to clarify.

The law of Dharma is universal so I am sure it would help in Africa. The UN seems to think all you have to do is give people food, water and medicine and they are done but without life purpose you really never move on in your life. The UN has made the people in Africa prisioners in their own land without purpose.

@wileystudios Mr. Chopra speaks of wealth consciousness, this is also spoken of in the Bible!

Proverbs--10:15-- "The wealth of the rich is their fortress; the poverty of the poor is their ruin.

What you think about expands.

Dr. Wayne Dyer--- "You attract that which you are."

Feeling rich is the same as being rich; the same is true for feeling poor.

It is the 'tamas' (darkness inside or the inability to connect with nature) that kills not the scarcity of food. In fact the Vedas say that no living being can die for scarcity of food. God (or nature) provides enough for every life. There are humans who live on sunlight, air and water.

Someone's Dharma ... if they connect to it ... will help these millions. I am sure right at this moment, there are many people who are capable of helping them, but are unaware of it. It may be a tall order to expect starving people to connect to their Dharma ... while a lot of us (well-fed ones with a lot of luxuries/options) have not taken the trouble. (??)

@ElTucoId If you study little bit about dharma and the way sole works you will find an answer to your question. Most of these people live the karma not the dhamra and the same holds for us.
