  • My school has verry few hollidays off. We have our parties with our fellow students and staff, there is no seperation of staff and student for my school. It's a school for disabled individuals called Crotched Mountain. They have a curriculum every bit as good as public schools. In addition we get a lot of art, technology, and scholastic study opportunities. We are taught tollorence, expression, teamwork and general fellowship. It lacks the rest of the world but I think it covers important things

  • he's too handsome, charming and down to earth to not be Americas next president.

  • I actually saw him in Evansville, Indiana. great speaker! he's definetely our next president!

  • Im telling you, either he is the greatest manipulator of all time. Or he really is gonna be one hell of a president. I am sorry but the passion this guy has can move mountiains, im thinking even in American poltics (not by himself, but by all the people who believe in what he is doing and stands for). if you say he cant chage anything, I would like your to explain how the goverment can ignore 300 Million voices. P.S. Im Canadian

  • That's amazing that he's in Indiana....and campaigning in other red states that Democratic nominees haven't visited in years...even Alaska lol

  • Kinda like Dinner for Five on the IFC channel ;)

  • I wanted to be in that lunch so badly!!!

Oh well.. it seemed like a lot of fun.

  • I'm with you, BryanStars. I've never felt so enthusiatic or sure about a candidate either. Meeting him & shaking his hand at my local union clinched the deal. America needs A real change. Vote democrat all the way!

  • People want to hate him. But he doesn't give reason for it. The only thing that they can get his people that he has met at some point. That

s the only thing they got, and of course the terrorist fist jab. Thats all they got.

  • I did not hear serious tough question's being asked.

9/11? our troops? Iraq? Iran? FEMA? FEMA/Camps? Gas prices? Codex Alimentarius?

  • Its lunch time.

    Jesus.

  • yes but Obama asked about questions that he doesn't always hear about. I think he knows about all of those serious problems.

  • why do people like you says things w/o thinking,,, those are major things that he talked about like a million times,,,,,,,,go watch other interviews plz and stop yapping

  • obama so cool man

  • McCain, we don't want seasoned politicans! We want a leader for the people, and that is Obama.

  • Seems like a genuinely nice, friendly guy who cares about his country and the people who support him. I have never been this enthusiastic about a candidate before.

    Barack Obama 2008!

  • I love Barack Obama. He will e a FANTASTIC president.

  • he seems like a very down to earh person. That's what I do like about him, he actually seems to wanna change, in contrast to other politicians at this level who just sit there looking pretty with a fat wallet in their right, and a silverspoon in their left hand.

  • i think it's cool how he remembered some of them. he's just so awesome.

  • SO AWKWARD.

  • Shine-on,Bright-one,A good man.

  • Barack Obama seriously is the nicest man this millenium.

    YES WE CAN!

  • i hope everyone here has accepted a personal relationship with barack obama

  • I am in awe of how good he is connecting with people.

Every generation is blessed with someone who embodies all the things we aspire to.

    Please Vote for Obama

  • this makes me hungry

  • he's so charismatic, charming, and likeable it's almost scary

  • He seems like a well-rounded, honest, down to earth person, very level headed. And a good listener, very impressive, he doesn't come across as phony at all, unlike most politicians.

    GO OBAMA!

  • that would be AWESOME!!!! it's really cool how he's so charismatic, even if he's not giving some major speech in front of thousands of people.

  • if you dont want george bush jr for president,

    vote for barack obama.

the coolest and best choice for president.

  • if i had lunch with barack obama i would be like "can i have you autograph" "can we take a picture together" loll!!!!

then i would talk about to change merica like no hunting

like you know people would just kill ducks and stuff i would be like why what did he do to you. or how bout if that duck was you

    you know

  • The lunch was duck.

  • i wish i could have lunch with barack. it would probably be really awkward, though..

  • it would be so awkward! i would probably sit there, silently freaking out.

  • America would have the most intelligent and coolest President like, ever if they vote Obama this November.

  • I love obama's foreign policy

  • That man right there is the next president of the United States of America!

  • Shine-on,bright-one,a good man.

  • Can anyone name any of his accomplishments? I'd love to know ANYTHING he's actually done!

  • he's done some impressive work in the Senate, and he has some notable accomplishments outside his seat in the Senate.

  • co-sponsored the Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act of 2006. that labeled hamas and hezbolah as terrorists organizations. and thats just 1

  • I'll bet there was Kool-Aid at that lunch! Everyone seems to be mesmerized! Wow! How amazing! A chill just went up my leg!

  • God bless democrats!

  • up with democracy! down with republicy, george bush and his dyslexia...

    ok thats my 2 cents O_O =P

  • nice lolll!!!!!!!!!!:]

  • He is such an honest guy! Obama extends himself beyond the grasping of the mind. He connects with people in a spiritual level, his heart is so open. This is not just a good guy, this is an exceptional human being.

  • lunch with obama...

    that would be the day

  • i just dont understand why people are trying so hard to make him out to be this ultimate terrorist when there are alot more things they could be doing argh i hate the press love barack (as a friend lol)

  • Honestly, I don't think that republicans really want to win...I mean, I honestly think that there are plenty of republicans who want Obama to win. There are plenty of them who are very embarrassed about the reign of Bush

  • What an amazing person to have running for our highest office. People that have Barack's kind of compassion and human touch rarely run for public office, let alone our President.

Let's seize this day America and help Obama guide our nation into a new era!

  • He has such a nice, deep, handsome voice to go with his good looks. Michelle is so lucky!

    ; )

  • Haha, the people are nervous, but Obama is completely at ease. I think it'd be interesting if they had a McCain supporter or two bouncing questions of off him.

  • He's awesome.

    Obama 2008.

But I still don't get something.

Wouldn't it be awkward to have lunch with people when being videotaped?

    I dunno, that's just me.

  • I'm having a lunch too! but without Barrack Obama, of course :D If Barrack would ever want to have a pizza with me, he's always invited :)

  • WOW...what a special man he is. I pray we do not miss out on the opportunity to change the direction this counrty has been going, by making sure he is in the noval office. OBAMA...fired up...so many are for his message of hope!

  • Mmm...U sound smart.

  • Go Obama! God bless you and your family

  • OBAMA is the brightest Most inteligent Man I've ever seen.

    He ROCKS!!!

    OBAMAFY!!!

    watch the "OBAMAFY" video!!!

  • Fired up...can someone please make a "fired up" you tube video for support of Obama...using the story he told...for July 4th...

  • Obama es going to win

  • umm i made a comment about this being awkward but it toally isnt. he rules.

  • i would love to hang out with obama but this is kind of awkward right?

  • affordable education is my dream

  • Stories. Endless stories.

  • you know what I love... The last guy said "you like to fish I understand" and instead of the typical politician easy answer, saying "yes, yes I do", he replies, "Well I like the idea of fishing but I'm not a very good fisherman". THAT was an honest answer. Hes going to make us all proud of this great nation again!

  • Your right. He is inclusive, a leader and also fair and deep thinking. There will not be much that will get by him and as president that is what will be needed to straighten out the mess Bush is leaving us.

  • I want to be like Obama!!

    Man of The Year!!

  • Great video.

  • This is amazing!

  • I hope that Obama will win

  • YES WE CAN!!

  • Complements to your staff for choosing some really concerned citizens..... Schools have to be fixed, even the good ones need help, it's a real problem.

  • Lotrfan66

Come on - it is possible to implement policies and programs that make people's lives better without becoming Communist. In Canada we have a capitalist free enterprise system but equal access to health-care. Take a look at countries like Sweden and others. Managed properly it can work and make life better for the majority without becoming the nightmare you predict.

  • LOL there's no tomato on that burger! i hope obama will fund more money to health inspectors :)

  • I, along with 3 other fantastic people, had the pleasure having dinner with Barack back in September. I have to say I agree 100% with the gentleman from Albuquerque. Senator Obama IS authentic and empathetic. He is without a doubt, the right man at the right time.

  • I decided one year ago that he was MY candidate. An honest man with his heart in the middle class. Critics call him "Elitist." Translation: Very successful educated working-class.

An educated working class, as Jefferson intended. The real elitists are the "ownership" class who prefer an uneducated working-class. It's been working for them.

  • Yes, its a good video and I get the feeling that he really is sincere.

HOWEVER....I really wish someone would have asked him "What are you going to do about the over 9 Trillion dollar debt that the Federal government has incurred?" and also "Do you think its important that a balanced budget amendment is passed?"

  • Yes how will fix that? With his programs that will add millions to that debt how will he?

  • You can ask him (or at least his staff) the question yourself, they always answer e mails.

  • EVERYBODY must have access to free health and education.

Without these foundations we become locked in the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. Segregation increases. Bitterness and jealousy. Racial partitions. Crime. Benefit culture.

You give people these two things and they have the chance to make success for themselves if they want it.

  • notice that time when Obama isn't talking while someone else is? Notice how he asks questions like "what are you seeing that you don't think those of us on the campaign trail are seeing?" That's Leadership.

  • jrubin22:

Amen. Real, inclusive leadership is the most powerful thing that an Obama presidency offers. Folks who are stuck on "being right" are missing the bigger picture.

  • Iam Not an american but Iam so proud and want my country like america if Barack obama as a President. We need more Barack obama as a president at many country arround the world not just in America.

  • That is the very reason we need Barack Obama. Other countries in the world will be proud to be our friends again.

With George Bush, foreign countries hate us for what we've done, but under Obama, we will gain our respect back in the eyes of the world.

Your comment means a lot to me. Thank you for that :)

  • Begun,the clone war has.

  • This was a good video but I disagree with the lady regarding, at the begining of the school year, reviewing material from the last year.

Reviewing material from prior courses is something that is done all the way through college. Repetition is one of the key methods to memorize and understand.

  • It may not have given the full context, the general complaint about No Child Left Behind is "teaching to the test." Information that is tested is hammered home again and again, while everything else is ignored.

  • Please my friends repeat after me:

    President Barack Obama,President Barack Obama...

    Get to used to it!!!

  • I like what I'm hearing here. I think the more we as Americans feel *included* in the political process, *connected* to what's going on in Washington, the more we will be able to carry it into the local level, and the more we'll be able to really bring about change. I'm seeing that this is not just about electing a candidate, this is also about empowering the people--I can definitely believe in this.

    Go Obama!!!

  • Art isn't a complete waste. A lot of the art they teach in highschool is.

e.g. Going through a mundane process to produce an image doesn't really expand creativity.

The language arts are essential. A lot of the good stuff like philosophy and psychology they don't teach in highschool, probably because of sociopaths who may manipulate what they learn and become like Charles Manson. That is unfourtunate because philosophy is what everything is based on, espically western civilization.

  • tapyenreit: I thought "change we could believe in" meant an end to the corruption and lies from our government. If you are happy with working at least one day just to pay taxes and have no trouble putting gas in the car and maintaining your current lifestyle, you do not need change. Middle and low income people do.

  • tapyenrit: Without art there would be no Hollywood, no movies, no TV, no cartoons, no fashion, most likely no You Tube. Art expands a child's brain power~to utilize it, think for themselves and create. If you believe in a God that created the earth, s/he was an artist. All those professions named and more, are jobs.

  • I don't know ... I hope, maybe God will bless America again.

  • Maybe. I am so worried about our country. I really hope that it is not a mcgovern situation back in the 60's. I really like Obama. I wish people wouldnt listen to the media. He is not perfect. Nobody is but i believe that he has an idea of what most americans want for our country. I am just worried about the clinton supporters. I would never switch sides just out of bitterness. McCain is just a Bush puppet.

  • I can answer you. Just so you know how good of a job Obama is doing he's got me and my families vote and we thought we were republicans. The lies that were have been hearing has mad many of us blind to reason.

Change: That is not taking money from lobbyist

Change: Protecting Americans By Helping Americans and their needs.

Change: Not suppression another country with out reason.

Change: Is helping you go to collage or helping your kids and everyone living up to their potential.

    Change is 4 US.

  • please spread this video around this is what Obama is all about

  • what the heck is your problem art is insanely important people need to understand the world

  • Hi Tapyenreit,

I don't think he would ever presume to know what each and every American believes in... It means that there will be results people can count on. Of course we need the basics when it comes to education but it is a proven fact that art, music, dance, writing help kids develop the minds, imagination and creativity to learn and succeed. Read the studies on this before you pass judgement.

  • "Art is a waste of time" ???

Throw out all your DVDs. Burn all your CDs and MP3 player, and never watch TV or movies again. If you can't appreciate people taking time to learn art, then you are a hypocrite every time you enjoy art in any of its many forms.

  • Go Obama!!!!

  • Art is required to expand children's minds. I suggest you gather information before making a blind suggestion.

  • ok what the hell is there in muncie indiana...

  • i dont think its about him, its about what he wants to do and i think many would agree that that is more important. that probably goes the same way for people that support mccain, except in my opinion, they are misguided.

  • This is something I can't see Hillary or McCain doing

  • People would do well to follow this star...

I see no brighter in the whole sky. C'mon America, the world needs this to simply happen. Otherwise, we'll have many more years of war and many young people lost on both sides.

    Obama '08!

  • OBAMA!

  • barack 4 president

  • Vote for Obama...he will give out free lunches...lol... I think not

  • I guess there is a free lunch with Obama

  • Barack is awesome!!! WOOT!

  • I love Barack !!!!!!

  • Barack Barack Barack Barack Barack Barack !!!!

  • this man will change the world

  • THIS! I have never felt so strongly about anything in my life.

  • The future president of the United States.

    :)

  • Obama!

  • Barack, I agree, it's about us. But you are the one to make it happen. So it's also a liitle about you ;-)

  • 100% Obama President 08. But got to listen more to people. It looks wrong to me to interrupt people in what they heartily want to say.

  • Yeah, he does look tired. He should get a bite to eat a bit more often and a few more hours of sleep. There's a gum called ThinkGum that gives me energy and helps me concentrate more and has natural herbs in it. It's kinda neat. I think this is really neat how he set this up! I would've been too nervous to talk. All the cameras and the Democratic Nominee possibly future president in front of me. Wow, it'd be too much, haha.

  • Totally AWESOME. What can you expect, of course the dude is tired :)

  • Obama, next time you stop in Philly I will buy your cheesesteak! Keep on truckin, Mr. President!

  • Obama/Huckabee 2008???? Why or why not?

  • I love their logo animation.

  • The lucky one's indeed. =)

    OBAMA 08'

  • I would have really enjoyed sitting there and talking to Senator Obama. The man strikes me as being REAL. How the hell can anyone even think about not placing this man in the White House is beyond my comprehension.

  • These key points made during one-on-one talks like this should be aired as campaign ads. This would emphasize that he really does take to heart the important issues he talks about at big rallies. The man is a real, concerned human being. He is truly one of us.

  • Vote Obama!

  • how cool! i can't tell you how awesome this would be, to sit down and eat lunch with Barack Obama and just talk to him.

what an amazing person he is and what an amazing president he will make!

    OBAMA '08!

  • this is cool because you get to see his real personality and how down to earth he is as a person!

  • I like that Obama combines sitting down to a meal with getting out to meet the people who are making this campaign successful.

  • This man is everything rolled into one.

  • Obama first shows off his basketball skilss, and now this? New tactics in politics.

  • Maybe he's tired but he doesn't look tired at all.

It's very cool seeing some stuff behind the scenes. OBAMA 08

  • What or who exactly did he mean with "..there are forces larger than us at work, which actually strengthens my faith ..." [08:10] ?

  • If they want views on this video they can't block peoples comments

  • he looks so tired, like he hasn't slept for AGES!!! dude your doing a great job but please try to manage yourself enough time to sleep :)

  • obama baby!!

  • he looks tired

  • He works hard.

  • Boy it must take a good memory and a lot of patience to remember stuff like that about people, and sit there and listen to all these different people.

  • I use to be a Clinton supporter.

Now i am here to say

    YES WE CAN!

    DEMOCRATS 08!

  • Go Barrack the only and right future choice for America!!!

  • My man

  • he should eat more, hes getting so thin from work

  • He drank water??????????? what a horrible president omg

  • lol

  • Holy cow that's a big 'lunch'.

  • i think its a lil extreme theyre saying hes a black seperatist.thats changes the whole face of his politics but i keep saying if he is it is that hes afrocentric meaning he just thinks with the black community in mind.not like bush.and if he is not theyre just using a plain old fashioned form of racism on him and they need to shut it.lol but i think he will need to prove for the naysayers that he is not a black seperatist its not right but its guilty until proven innocent .

  • Its just a Right-wing smear tactic

  • Folks - VOTEFORPEACE08 is the ONLY advocacy org. really reaching out to non-voters (there are over 100 million of them)

    Obama '08

  • hope you win i got a tener rading on it

  • Obama is a nice guy!

  • Since it's McCain who really wants the townhall meetings because it's a format he can handle, they should be split with the other half being debates. At *least* 50/50.

  • We need to end anti democratic techniques such as push polling (which was used against McCain by Bush) also attack ads by thinly disguised third party organizations.

  • Man I'll never meet barack, but that's ok...as long as he wins it will feel like I met him.

  • He is my president! Obama!

  • yo i'm only 13....and i live in belgium...

but i want that you win!!

  • I donated for this contest! I wish I got chance to see Barack

  • good luck,from ireland,

  • Obama is GREAT

but he lets censore the comments on his vids on youtube

  • cool

  • go barack (i'm not a america'n i for EU (belgië) but eu find barack the best

  • Bring on the town hall meetings! Barack knows how to connect with people even in a smaller setting. Good luck in November
