The media attention for this was awful in my opinion but my auntie is a student training to be a registered nurse and she thinks that the media attention and the way thhey covered this story was correct maybe they may have made the story a bit more dramatic than need be but she beleives that parents had a right to know the studies that were going on in the NHS by registered doctors which who of course is Dr.A Wakefiled
@RealityGrapple However, there is still thimerisol in flu shots. Often given to children at the SAME time. This was the case with my son who is Autistic, shortly after the MMR
The U.S. Department of Justice has handed down an indictment against a former CDC scientist who led research studies that claimed to disprove any link between vaccines and autism.According to government documents, Dr. Poul Thorsen, one of the key researchers in "disproving" any link between vaccines and autism, allegedly defrauded the scientific research community of over one million dollars. So Dr Wakefield is peddling his nonsense in the US now.
This guy has been completely discredited, his research retracted and has been struck off the UK medical register. He falsified research to promote his own company.
Glad to see he has been reduced to peddling his nonsense on dubious crackpot radio shows! IMO he is now in the same realm as snake oil merchants
There has been the the mad cow disease hype, the asian avian flu, bird massacre, and of course the swine flu swindle. Dont forget the post 911 anthrax scare - the strain matching the US military grade small spores.
All of this adds up to positioning the USA as a target of a bioterrorism threat.
For non-professionals, it will not be possible to detect the fraud. its an easier scam than nanothermite and standing down NORAD.
Medical/science professionals will be suppressed just MSM lies.
Medical Mandates are GREAT concern b/c under a medical crisis by WHO and the CDC or even DHS, or even under martial law (like Egypt is now - constitution is suspended), or by executive order, vaccines CAN be administers on a mandatory basis as a matter of public health: epidemic or bioterrorism (actual, feigned, or otherwise).
The infrastructure is in place and policies have been amended for that purpose.
Why else would WHO change its definition of an epidemic, and FEMA run many drills?
@RealityGrapple eh actually fourteen months prior to dr.Andrew Wakefield's investigation was independently replicated years ago by different researchers proving a direct correllation between the MMR vaccine and autism.
Proving the allegations against Dr.Wakefield by the BMJ to be false.
I think you need to get your mind off ufos ... obviously hasn't done you any favours
@RealityGrapple Your right, the BMJ, big pharma and government wouldn't lie to us, of course not, they always respect dissent and differing opinion, independent research sucks, government approved research now thats always proven to be right, thimerosol mercury preservative in vaccince is completely healthy and safe for the body, even though the vaccine insert says it may cause damage, but only kooks believe that.
Truth cannot be suppressed by even the largest monoliths of evil. Talking heads and corporate media shills can try and slander a man's integrity and character, but they cannot suppress truth.
@wispa1a Unfortunately, the other English speaking countries show deference to the Medical Regulatory Authorities in other countries. The US is even worse than the UK.
Dr.Rebecca Carley,MD became famous for questioning the safety of vaccines and even developed a protocol to reverse autism. I spoke to numerous parents of children who were very satisfied with Dr.carley's treatment of their children. She lost her NYS medical license and the Medical Board would not allow my testimony.
england is in the stone age medicaly the head of the autism society said wakefields theorys are bunk maybee wakefield can explain why everyone in england has rotten teeth is it bad prenatal care?
@sykopath66190 i am i read al ot of medical textbooks like principles of internal medicine which has every disease known to man and i have a microscope
We support Dr. Wakefield!! Thank you for helping children in our community, when there are so many doctors and pediatricians who turn away. It is heartbreaking trying to get the proper help for our children who suffer from regressive autism and severe medical issues that are usually associated with vaccine injury ( In particular the *debilitating* gastroinstentinal issues) A site that helped us heal was the Autism Research Insitute. For those looking for help, please google it. Thank you Dr. W
We have witnessed and we have experienced first hand how harmful vaccines can be to our beautiful babies. In our case it was the flu shot given along with 2 other vaccines. Why didn't our pediatrician TELL US that there are ABSOLUTELY NO SAFETY STUDIES DONE ON THE ADMINISTERING OF MULTIPLE VACCINES???? It kills me everyday that We put so much blind faith in our pediatrician. PARENTS: Do your *own* research, you owe it to your precious Children!! GOOGLE: National Vaccine Information Center
This IS sad I swear if In anyway the NWO order AFFECTS me I will be angry very fucking angry. I swear please everyone.e eat organic its so good ! U can still eat everything!
descrediting wakefield is important because he threatens the billion dollar income of the medical industry, which is nothing more than a government enforced monopoly
well i think wakefields findings are just part of a bigger more frightening picture, it just shows how corrupted the systems really has become, and that truth can be easily bought and we really have a medical monopoly, it doesn't matter how much true it is, he is not the only one, just one of many.
healthcare has become nothing more than a big opportunity to loot the population. only a few individuals stand up and tell the truth most simply don't have the guts to do this.
The govt as well as the makers want the public to blindly accept vaccinations. Considering they have been chemtrailing (persistent contrailing) and lie about the existence of obvious activity and the contamination of the water with flouride and perhaps radioactivity as reported in Texas, this hardly engenders trust of the govt health initiatives.
but this just proves how much corporations care about you. They give a sh't about you as long as they make money,
individuals like alex or wakefield try to make the world a better place, big corporations try to steal your last penny and if they have to kill you to get your money they will just do that.
Its certainly possible the study may not hold up, or the original findings may lead to something else. The important thing is to investigate the safety of vaccines. Dr. Blaylock has expressed his concerns about vaccines as well as other health professionals.
The charges that it was fraud seem very heavy considering the argument against Dr. Wakefield. But that was necessary to blacken his reputation to divert attention from the Fraudulent H1N1 hoax campaign that cost billions.
i think that this really a hilarious situation, a poor doctor like wakefield is trying to help small children and most people prefer to trust the research of huge corporation instead or universities which get their funding from large corporations.
but since there are so many useful idiots out there(like) who believe study= automatically absolute truth and corporate medical science = charity it happens that many people are getting damaged or not receiving appropriate treatment. very sad.
yeah medical "science" the one that we have today is a joke. Essentially what we are seeing is commercialised medicine which means that we don*t get the best medical care available but the most profitable. It's not a surprise since so many studies are funded privatly with the intention to discover potential treatments which can be profitable sold.
During the H1N1 "pandemic" which is essential a FRAUD - that is why the medical establishment wants to pin that label on Wakefield when it so aptly describes THEIR OWN ACTIVITY.
Vaccine Fraud = the H1N1 Swine flu phony pandemic.
That is why they continue to push this issue and attack Wakefield
As I said, vaccines are the largest class of medicine distributed - million and millions of doses worldwide!!!
It is also access to private human bodies. With the HPV to prevent cancer in healthy girls and now boys - 24 states tried to pass laws or otherwise
MANDATE VACCINES
Only two states were successful.
There are broader implications to vaccines, esp. during a pandemic emergency, which new policies and executive orders, and cdc and WHO definition has been changed.
ANYONE can parrot studies. Even a shaved money. But it takes more than that.
and that is my issue with apple, he is busy linking but is brain is still not turned on he remains clueless of the underlying biochemistry and toxicolgy.
Actually, I would think water and food safety should be a bigger concern, given the sheer amounts or everything. I'm not saying STOP studying them. I'm saying you should use your head and think a little more clearly about the importance of this. Vaccines are proven to save lives and prevent diseases. Unless, again, you are disputing that...
And, your conspiracy theory about government access to private bodies is meaningless. It is simply not evidence of anything...
any person who has even the most basic understanding of the toxicology of mercury will understand that the dose is very dangerous and means basically playing with fire.
so that's my point.
if you don't understand the toxicology you are infact clueless.
so please i am waiting what is the true half life of injected mercury from vaccines???
The reason they likely have attacked Wakefield is that he was causing trouble in this ever expanding list of vaccines. Manipulating the immune system strikes driectly at a persons ability to remain healthy.
Good or bad clinical science - there is no precedent to strip an MD of his license and launch a media attack campaign
You have not posted anything substantive. I have. You've made straw man argument after straw man argument and several ad hominem attacks... NOTHING intellectual at all, nor even rational.
And you have simply not shown any ability of critical thinking either... My position is the same about you. I've presented you with studies, statistics from your own coveted sources, and you simply have supplied nothing but conspiracy rhetoric...
I'm not disagreeing with you concerning the environmental factors. In fact, I'm saying that we should be concentrating more on things that aren't proven to prevent diseases and concentrate on things that have no benefits. Like genetically modified beef laced with hormones and antibiotics from YUM foods. Or flouride in our water. Or chlorine. Or heavy metals in the water. Or any of the other hundreds of things that have no positive benefit, BEFORE we condemn something that CLEARLY saves lives...
apple is a good example of people who are so brain damaged that they are incapable of indipendent critical thinking. He reasoning is simply based on parroting the same studies by established instituations and denying anything else.
but if you ask him about the toxicology you find out that theree is nothing about this in his brain, he simply does not consider it important.
even a parrot would be able to do this kind of intellctual thinking. It's sad. simply sad.
Again, all the studies and Journal articles I've posted are from 2008 and 2009... Try again.. Post a reputable source
How about a real source? You know, like a medical journal or a research paper? The fact remains that you simply haven't shown any causal relationship between mercury and autism and you know why? Because no study has shown one.
Pediatrics, October 5, 2009, based on a National Children’s Health Survey done with 78,000 parents in 2007.
"Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorders - Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network, United States, 2006." Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Morbitity and Mortality Weekly Report, 18 December 2009.
Based on the autism prevalence rate of 1 in 150 (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2007) and 2000 U.S. Census figure of 280 million Americans.
“Autistic Spectrum Disorders: Changes in the California Caseload, An Update June 1987 June 20007.” Cavagnaro, Andre T., California Health and Human Services Agency. State of California 2003 survey of developmental disabilities.
Autism Society estimate based on 2003 US state educational data.
In fact, I know quite a bit about mercury and its metabolism... The fact that you can start an argument about something you have no background in, and expect me to not have a background in it is pretty pathetic... So, my original point remains... Please post a source for any data that supports this moron and his work and post a source for your bs data on mercury... I know my facts. I actually read them in the reputable medical journal articles I posted...
And no, methylcercury and ethylmercury are not metabolized the same... Ethylmercury (which is contained in Thiomersal) is metabolized MUCH faster than methylmercury (the kind mostly encountered through ingestion...)
What this means is that the mother's body will continue poisoning the fetus for much longer with regards to the methylmercury in her system than the miniscule amount of ethylmercury in Thiomersal...
Yeah, post your source. You do know what that means, right? If you want to present an argument or a position, then you need to back it up with facts and a source, like I have done. Not doing so just shows the weakness of your position...
Are you saying that you are refusing to source your data?
no you have not studied it. Linking a journal paper does not mean that you understand the metabolism of mercury compunds., heckk you don't even know how much mercury a single injection contains... You are very clearly telling me that you have not even the slighted idea. For some reason you believe that foolishly linking a journal paper is automatically proof.
Yeah, post your source!! You do know what that means, don't you? If you are trying to convince me of your position, then it is your responsibility to post your source, not mine...
So, you are not going to post a source for your claim?
Suceptibility genes may be influenced by "environmental" factors,- it does NOT necessarily mean that genetics alone are determinant. Many genes maybe undiscovered and be influenced by environmental factors as well.
The hypothesis of Dr. Wakefield is that some form of ASD maybe an autoimmune-mediated or initiated event, and that patients were responsive to anti-inflammatory treatments.
infact only a fool will believe that ingest inorganic mercury or ingest selenium bound methylmercury will be metabolised the same as injected ethylmercury. It's nonsense.
post your source?
You can google how much methylmercury a canned fish contains and how much mercury a single injection contains. It's not secret. You want me to proof that fish can swim or what?
Actually, I have studied it. I've posted the links to the New England Journal of medicine that explain this and prove your post incorrect. Please post your conflicting information's source...
Unless you are going to simply say that the New England Journal of medicine is just a government conspiracy...
A person who believes such a thing doesn't even what mercury is and how it is metabolised. The mercury in tap water is not the same as the mercury in vaccines.
you have not studied this. it's obvious from your commentary.
Do you know what types of mercury exist and how nthey are metabolised?
Ah, so that's the angle now? Try to discredit the whole institution? Avoid the discussion by creating a straw man argument? Nice try, but that logic has never been acceptable at any level of intellectual debate...
WRONG!!! The highest mercury exposure for infants comes from city tap water and fish, and is IN UTERO!!! The links I posted prior to your joining this discussion have this data... Try looking it up... The amount of mercury that 1 fish a pregnant mother eats exposes her fetus to 3 times the amount of mercury that it will get from all the vaccines up to 2 years of age!! Please cite your source for the information you are posting...
medical research is reputable?, only a person with half a brain can believe such a thing given the history of medical research, medicine isn't even a real science so i don't understand why anyone would present opinions of the medical establishment as absolute proof.
listen i did not say studies are never true, i say just because i study linked something doesn't mean has it has to be true.
The truth is that the available data shows that vaccines are the highest mercury exposure for infants, second to none and there IS proof that such mercury levels can harm intellectual development. Period.
The simple truth here is that reputable medical research has all come to the conclusion that there is no causal link between vaccines and autism. I know you don't want to believe it. I understand some people want something to blame. I also know that, just like the rest of the human beings, a certain percentage of doctors and researchers are going to believe other things. But, the link between autism and vaccines has been conclusively (not absolutely) shown to be BS!
Oh, so now it's, "the studies are almost never true?" Please cite something that backs up your position that studies "are almost never absolute pure truth."
Let me guess, another one that now wants to try to discredit a study they don't want to believe in from a desk chair?
well studies are almost never absolute pure truth but just very clumsy attemps to gather insight in things that are poorly understand.. So saying a "study showed" often say as much as "i have horse manure in my backyard"
well studies are almost never absolute pure truth but just very clumsy attemps to gather insight in things that are poorly understand.. So saying a "study showed" often say as much as "i have horse manure in my backyard"
@mrAsdfg35... Right, very clear. The data doesn't say what it actually says, right? And you can make it look like anything you want, right? I read ALL of the studies I posted, did you?
@ applepei well another study noted an decrease in autism while mercury exposure was decreasing. The point ist that if you read some of the studies instead just reading the abstract you will see that the content often contradicts what is written in the abstract. Also just presenting statistics is often useless, it looks convincing but often you find that it's just nonsense since the way the data was collected and presented was actually meaningless.
I guess its because everyone wants to think that (gasp) it couldn't be the mother's fault that her child was exposed to mercury, or lead, or any on of a hundred other poisons that the studies I posted showed may ACTUALLY be contributing factors...
The California study (which I posted) actually noted a drop in mercury exposure, with the same steady rise in autism rates...
Furthermore, if you want, I can find you plenty of environmental studies that can show that a smoking mother, or even one drinking city tap water is exposing her fetus to higher levels of mercury and other crap than vaccines... Why are you concentrating on something that can be explained, by common sense alone, by the exposure to other things? One of the studies I posted even linked autism to pre-birth conditions that happen in utero.
Your own posts are about articles talking about genetic predisposition... Its the genetics, then, that have the causal links, not the vaccines... And the studies that have been done (that I have posted, that have not been discredited,) show that it is unlikely that they are contributing factors. Although, to be fair, no study can rule them out as such. So, I'll grant you, just for the sake of arguing, so what if they are? Again, it isn't the fault of the vaccines? We need a screening process...
I'm not arguing that some people might be more susceptible to autism... All this means is that we have to create an adequate screening process... But, this has NOTHING TO DO WITH VACCINES!
I'm going to go back to where I started this... Do REAL research of your own. That means actually reading the medical journals, and talking to real doctors. Go to your local health clinic. ASK QUESTIONS OF REAL PEOPLE! Don't believe that what you think is real until you can verify it with some hard facts instead of your own conjecture. Learn the statistics and how to properly analyze them.. Most importantly, stop believing what the rest of the sheep are telling you...
The bottom line is that you can't. Simple logic and common sense can defeat every position that you have presented, and you cannot refute the articles and studies I've posted from the New England Journal of Medicine. And I could include other medical journals as well, if you want more support of my position...
Or are you still maintaining that they all "smokescreens" "like big tobacco companies hid behind?"
So, now that you can't post anything supporting your views, it's time to pull out the kool-aid, and government cover-ups? I knew it would happen sooner or later. I've presented you with facts and studies and articles and evidence and simple statistical analysis, and you STILL cling to your belief... And I don't disagree with your thoughts of the WHO and the CDC, either... But, as you challenged me - properly cite some articles and studies to support your position...
As long as the WHO, CDC etc. change its definition of pandemic to included basically non-fatal oubreaks to delare for e.g. the H1N1 virus a global pandemic where govt buy millions of doses and attempt to force vaccination, there will be resistance to accepting questionable public health vaccination policies.
Furthermore, I don't disagree with you that all of those things might contribute (even vaccines.) (And note that I said CONTRIBUTE, not CAUSE...) But, common sense (even without studies) should tell you that vaccines are a part of the picture that is barely noticeable, if existent at all (and there is almost nothing pointing to them contributing except this one guy's work, that has been thoroughly discredited...)
Your rambling is hogwash. Why did it take 25 years to recognize the pattern of microRNA?
I would like a dollar for every statistical study that failed to find a link between smoking and cancer. Decades the tobacco companies hid behind this smokescreen
Dr. Wakefield calls for more work in this area. It will take time to prove or disprove the hypothesis that MMR vaccines may be a ontributing factor, Furthermore, what are the molecular events that produce austism in what forms.
Okay, if you want to talk about exposure, then try this one... How much mercury is in ALL the vaccines that a child will get up to the age of 2? Then find out how much mercury is in the average woman's fillings, and then add the mercury in her water, then the mercury in any fish she ate, then add any due to smoking or accidental exposures.
Furthermore, this is not evidence. It's conjecture. Let me put it to you like this:
The human brain is a pattern recognition device. And it is very good at what it does. It can even take a partial pattern and extrapolate the rest of it, without any evidence at all. Furthermore, where 2 sets of patterns can be correct, it will extrapolate the one that seems the easiest to complete the pattern.
You are seeing a pattern to all these things that are normal statistics...
Not at all irrelevant. It shows that there are molecular targets that could be influenced by geneti and environmental factors including in utero exposure. This could be a cumulative effect of molecular lesions and disruptions. A combination of genes, exposures, vaccines, adjuvants, toxins.
A combination of factors could be involved, not unlike the the development of cancer.
MMR vaccine in combination with a multitude of events and suspectibility could be a trigger. Its a tenable hypothesis
I'm not arguing that. Simple statistical analysis will tell you that there SHOULD be 13% (1 standard deviation) of healthcare professionals that believe it, whether it exists or not... This is why we have things like margins of error, probability studies, bell curves, distribution parameters and statistics. What I am saying is that if it were a universal occurrence, then why is it only 13%?
Careful, guy... If you want to start putting up things like statistical links, then you cannot ignore the statistics that vaccinating is safer than not vaccinating... The statistics show that..
The susceptibility-gene study (while totally irrelevant to Wakefield's work,) is actually a detriment to your case. It clearly indicates that autism is more related to genetics than environmental factors (such as vaccines.) I'll give you the fact that some people may be more susceptible to autism, but all that proves is that we need to create a screening process for them. But, this hardly invalidates vaccines
Much more work than statistical studies much be conducted to determine if the MMR vaccine is a trigger or contributing factor to the onset of autism, and whether or not there is a link. There has been a statistical link found between bowel disease and the development of autism - however, such studies as indicated are not conclusive.
So far the regression analysis of statistical studies and the power of the study to identify the possibility of the MMR vaccine as a possible trigger when multiple genetic and environmental factors may be involved.
You do realize that the molecular and biochemical basis of autism has not been discovered?
And you are talking about 13% of general practitioners. And while they do have a modicum of training in immunology, they certainly are not subject matter experts. My guess is that these statistics are the same as the general population at large, perhaps a little less. I'll bet that it's closer to 20% among people without any training in medicine...
Genome-Wide Analyses of Exonic Copy Number Variants in a Family-Based Study Point to Novel Autism Susceptibility Genes-- PLOS Genetics, Bucan M, Abrahams BS, Wang K, Glessner JT, Herman EI, et al.(June 2009)
All that survey is saying is that, just like other people, there are some people that believe in things not supported by evidence...Doctors and nurses are people too. And they are entitled to their beliefs just like anyone else. But, that is hardly evidence...
MD and RNs as healthcase professional opinions are more insightful than non-professionals as they treat patients and have decades of training. Doctors and nurses have observed the rise in the incidence of autism.
Also, your "survey of health professionals" statistics are not surprising. In fact, I would expect to see these kind of numbers among people educated in a given field. This is a normal distribution curve and if it were any other way, I would worry that they falsified the polling methods. I mean, 22% of Americans believe that humans and dinosaurs lived together on the planet... THAT is a surprising statistic.
Furthermore, given Wakefield's work is 12 year old and has been discredited, where are the studies supporting him? I mean, evidence of absence is not evidence, but absence of evidence surely begs the question why there are no supporting studies...
Furthermore, given Wakefield's work is 12 year old and has been discredited, where are the studies supporting him? I mean, evidence of absence is not evidence, but absence of evidence surely begs the question why there are no supporting studies...
Interesting. Neither of those things points to any actual studies done. Nor do they provide any solid evidence for anything, other than the "questionnaire survey" that presupposes the cause in the introduction, then conducts the questionnaire in the manner it presupposes... Are you saying that I could circulate a research questionnaire asking people why bird feces ruins the finish on their cars, in an effort to support the fact that bird feces ruins the finish on their cars?
A survey of health professionals in Wales revealed that 13 percent of general practitioners (GPs), 27 percent of practice nurses, and 7 percent of health visitors (visiting nurses) believed that there was a “very likely or possible association between MMR and autism.
We'll see if any of these citations have anything to do with MMR vaccine and autism.
Meanwhile, here is one for you:
20. M. Petrovic, R. Roberts, andM. Ramsay, “Second Dose of Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Vaccine: Questionnaire Survey of Health Professionals,” BritishMedical Journal 322, no. 7278 (2001): 82–85.
And while you are checking, why not post something that supports this quack's research? Considering it began in 1998, I can only hope that some other studies would have been down to confirm of support it...
I'm going to consider this discussion over, because you have now been provided with OVERWHELMING evidence to the contrary of your position... At some point you are going to simply say that its all government propaganda, because you can't support your own position with ANY references of ANY kind, and you now have plenty to the contrary...
Again... This does not even pass the COMMON SENSE test. You really don't need all these studies and crap to call your local Health Department and/or the CDC and ask them for statistics...
And the statistics show that it is safer to vaccinate, by a factor of 10!

GOOGLE: National Vaccine Information Center

descrediting wakefield is important because he threatens the billion dollar income of the medical industry, which is nothing more than a government enforced monopoly
MrAsdfg35 1 year ago
well i think wakefields findings are just part of a bigger more frightening picture, it just shows how corrupted the systems really has become, and that truth can be easily bought and we really have a medical monopoly, it doesn't matter how much true it is, he is not the only one, just one of many.
healthcare has become nothing more than a big opportunity to loot the population. only a few individuals stand up and tell the truth most simply don't have the guts to do this.
MrAsdfg35 1 year ago
The govt as well as the makers want the public to blindly accept vaccinations. Considering they have been chemtrailing (persistent contrailing) and lie about the existence of obvious activity and the contamination of the water with flouride and perhaps radioactivity as reported in Texas, this hardly engenders trust of the govt health initiatives.
mrscambuster1001 1 year ago
but this just proves how much corporations care about you. They give a sh't about you as long as they make money,
individuals like alex or wakefield try to make the world a better place, big corporations try to steal your last penny and if they have to kill you to get your money they will just do that.
MrAsdfg35 1 year ago
MrAsdfg35
Its certainly possible the study may not hold up, or the original findings may lead to something else. The important thing is to investigate the safety of vaccines. Dr. Blaylock has expressed his concerns about vaccines as well as other health professionals.
The charges that it was fraud seem very heavy considering the argument against Dr. Wakefield. But that was necessary to blacken his reputation to divert attention from the Fraudulent H1N1 hoax campaign that cost billions.

yeah medical "science" the one that we have today is a joke. Essentially what we are seeing is commercialised medicine which means that we don*t get the best medical care available but the most profitable. During the H1N1 "pandemic" which is essential a FRAUD - that is why the medical establishment wants to pin that label on Wakefield when it so aptly describes THEIR OWN ACTIVITY.

mrscambuster2002 1 year ago

As I said, vaccines are the largest class of medicine distributed - million and millions of doses worldwide!!!
It is also access to private human bodies. With the HPV to prevent cancer in healthy girls and now boys - 24 states tried to pass laws or otherwise
MANDATE VACCINES
Only two states were successful.
There are broader implications to vaccines, esp. during a pandemic emergency, which new policies and executive orders, and cdc and WHO definition has been changed.

Actually, I would think water and food safety should be a bigger concern, given the sheer amounts or everything. I'm not saying STOP studying them. I'm saying you should use your head and think a little more clearly about the importance of this. Vaccines are proven to save lives and prevent diseases. Unless, again, you are disputing that...

so please i am waiting what is the true half life of injected mercury from vaccines???

The reason they likely have attacked Wakefield is that he was causing trouble in this ever expanding list of vaccines. Manipulating the immune system strikes driectly at a persons ability to remain healthy.
Good or bad clinical science - there is no precedent to strip an MD of his license and launch a media attack campaign
mrscambuster2002 1 year ago
applepei00
All of those topics can be evaluated without omitting the evaluation of vaccine safety.
Vaccines are given to millions of people, more than any other class of medicine. That is why it is so important to scrutinize vaccines
Also, to get right down to it. Vaccines are the only real way for the govt to have ready access to private human bodies.

Or any of the other hundreds of things that have no positive benefit, BEFORE we condemn something that CLEARLY saves lives...
applepei00 1 year ago
apple is a good example of people who are so brain damaged that they are incapable of indipendent critical thinking. He reasoning is simply based on parroting the same studies by established instituations and denying anything else.
but if you ask him about the toxicology you find out that theree is nothing about this in his brain, he simply does not consider it important.
even a parrot would be able to do this kind of intellctual thinking. It's sad. simply sad.
MrAsdfg35 1 year ago
The point is that ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS ARE involved in hugh rise in the number of cases of autism being reported.
total number of vaccines, the formulation (the preservatives, adjuvants etc.) multiple antigens, frequency of injections MAY be a contributing factor.
No one on this planet has proven or disproven that hypothesis.
In light of the rise in cases, it is an avenue worthy of investigation!!

Please post a source for any data that supports this moron and his work and post a source for your bs data on mercury... I know my facts. I actually read them in the reputable medical journal articles I posted...
You've simply proven yourself ignorant.
applepei00 1 year ago
yes but you just proved how clueless you are,.
ethyl/methymercury are toxic because they poison the nervous system.
The extent of damage is caused by mercury that is metabolised in the brain and remains there for many years.
The faster it is metabolised in the brain the more will accumulate there. Making it more toxic and more dangerous.
The amount that gets and STAYS in the brain is what makes mercury so dangerous. Ethylmercury will leave the brain more toxic.
MrAsdfg35 1 year ago
And no, methylcercury and ethylmercury are not metabolized the same... Ethylmercury (which is contained in Thiomersal) is metabolized MUCH faster than methylmercury (the kind mostly encountered through ingestion...)
What this means is that the mother's body will continue poisoning the fetus for much longer with regards to the methylmercury in her system than the miniscule amount of ethylmercury in Thiomersal...
applepei00 1 year ago
Yeah, post your source. You do know what that means, right? If you want to present an argument or a position, then you need to back it up with facts and a source, like I have done. Not doing so just shows the weakness of your position...

Suceptibility genes may be influenced by "environmental" factors,- it does NOT necessarily mean that genetics alone are determinant. Many genes maybe undiscovered and be influenced by environmental factors as well.
The hypothesis of Dr. Wakefield is that some form of ASD maybe an autoimmune-mediated or initiated event, and that patients were responsive to anti-inflammatory treatments.
mrscambuster1001 1 year ago
infact only a fool will believe that ingest inorganic mercury or ingest selenium bound methylmercury will be metabolised the same as injected ethylmercury. It's nonsense.

medical research is reputable?, only a person with half a brain can believe such a thing given the history of medical research, medicine isn't even a real science so i don't understand why anyone would present opinions of the medical establishment as absolute proof.
MrAsdfg35 1 year ago
listen i did not say studies are never true, i say just because i study linked something doesn't mean has it has to be true.
The truth is that the available data shows that vaccines are the highest mercury exposure for infants, second to none and there IS proof that such mercury levels can harm intellectual development. Period.
MrAsdfg35 1 year ago
The simple truth here is that reputable medical research has all come to the conclusion that there is no causal link between vaccines and autism. I know you don't want to believe it. I understand some people want something to blame. I also know that, just like the rest of the human beings, a certain percentage of doctors and researchers are going to believe other things. But, the link between autism and vaccines has been conclusively (not absolutely) shown to be BS!

Sheep...
applepei00 1 year ago
@ applepei well another study noted an decrease in autism while mercury exposure was decreasing. The point ist that if you read some of the studies instead just reading the abstract you will see that the content often contradicts what is written in the abstract. Also just presenting statistics is often useless, it looks convincing but often you find that it's just nonsense since the way the data was collected and presented was actually meaningless.
MrAsdfg35 1 year ago
I guess its because everyone wants to think that (gasp) it couldn't be the mother's fault that her child was exposed to mercury, or lead, or any on of a hundred other poisons that the studies I posted showed may ACTUALLY be contributing factors...
The California study (which I posted) actually noted a drop in mercury exposure, with the same steady rise in autism rates...
applepei00 1 year ago
Furthermore, if you want, I can find you plenty of environmental studies that can show that a smoking mother, or even one drinking city tap water is exposing her fetus to higher levels of mercury and other crap than vaccines... Why are you concentrating on something that can be explained, by common sense alone, by the exposure to other things? One of the studies I posted even linked autism to pre-birth conditions that happen in utero.
applepei00 1 year ago
Your own posts are about articles talking about genetic predisposition... Its the genetics, then, that have the causal links, not the vaccines... And the studies that have been done (that I have posted, that have not been discredited,) show that it is unlikely that they are contributing factors. Although, to be fair, no study can rule them out as such. So, I'll grant you, just for the sake of arguing, so what if they are? Again, it isn't the fault of the vaccines? We need a screening process...
applepei00 1 year ago
how do you know that vaccines arent a contributing factor. You dont know one knows yet. That is the whole point!
mrscambuster1001 1 year ago
I'm not arguing that some people might be more susceptible to autism... All this means is that we have to create an adequate screening process... But, this has NOTHING TO DO WITH VACCINES!

Okay, again, to the article you just posted... NOTHING TO DO WITH VACCINES...
applepei00 1 year ago

Or are you still maintaining that they all "smokescreens" "like big tobacco companies hid behind?"
applepei00 1 year ago
So, now that you can't post anything supporting your views, it's time to pull out the kool-aid, and government cover-ups? I knew it would happen sooner or later. I've presented you with facts and studies and articles and evidence and simple statistical analysis, and you STILL cling to your belief... And I don't disagree with your thoughts of the WHO and the CDC, either... But, as you challenged me - properly cite some articles and studies to support your position...
applepei00 1 year ago
As long as the WHO, CDC etc. change its definition of pandemic to included basically non-fatal oubreaks to delare for e.g. the H1N1 virus a global pandemic where govt buy millions of doses and attempt to force vaccination, there will be resistance to accepting questionable public health vaccination policies.
mrscambuster1001 1 year ago
Furthermore, I don't disagree with you that all of those things might contribute (even vaccines.) (And note that I said CONTRIBUTE, not CAUSE...) But, common sense (even without studies) should tell you that vaccines are a part of the picture that is barely noticeable, if existent at all (and there is almost nothing pointing to them contributing except this one guy's work, that has been thoroughly discredited...)
applepei00 1 year ago
Your rambling is hogwash. Why did it take 25 years to recognize the pattern of microRNA?
I would like a dollar for every statistical study that failed to find a link between smoking and cancer. Decades the tobacco companies hid behind this smokescreen
Dr. Wakefield calls for more work in this area. It will take time to prove or disprove the hypothesis that MMR vaccines may be a ontributing factor, Furthermore, what are the molecular events that produce austism in what forms.
mrscambuster1001 1 year ago
Okay, if you want to talk about exposure, then try this one... How much mercury is in ALL the vaccines that a child will get up to the age of 2? Then find out how much mercury is in the average woman's fillings, and then add the mercury in her water, then the mercury in any fish she ate, then add any due to smoking or accidental exposures.
Let me know what you figure out...

What I am saying is that if it were a universal occurrence, then why is it only 13%?
applepei00 1 year ago
Careful, guy... If you want to start putting up things like statistical links, then you cannot ignore the statistics that vaccinating is safer than not vaccinating... The statistics show that..

The susceptibility-gene study (while totally irrelevant to Wakefield's work,) is actually a detriment to your case. It clearly indicates that autism is more related to genetics than environmental factors (such as vaccines.) I'll give you the fact that some people may be more susceptible to autism, but all that proves is that we need to create a screening process for them. But, this hardly invalidates vaccines
applepei00 1 year ago
Much more work than statistical studies much be conducted to determine if the MMR vaccine is a trigger or contributing factor to the onset of autism, and whether or not there is a link. There has been a statistical link found between bowel disease and the development of autism - however, such studies as indicated are not conclusive.
mrscambuster1001 1 year ago
So far the regression analysis of statistical studies and the power of the study to identify the possibility of the MMR vaccine as a possible trigger when multiple genetic and environmental factors may be involved.
You do realize that the molecular and biochemical basis of autism has not been discovered?

And you are talking about 13% of general practitioners. And while they do have a modicum of training in immunology, they certainly are not subject matter experts. My guess is that these statistics are the same as the general population at large, perhaps a little less. I'll bet that it's closer to 20% among people without any training in medicine...

All that survey is saying is that, just like other people, there are some people that believe in things not supported by evidence...Doctors and nurses are people too. And they are entitled to their beliefs just like anyone else. But, that is hardly evidence...

@applepei00
MD and RNs as healthcase professional opinions are more insightful than non-professionals as they treat patients and have decades of training. Doctors and nurses have observed the rise in the incidence of autism.
mrscambuster1001 1 year ago

@applepei00
So you think the opinions of MD and RNs are irrelevant?
mrscambuster1001 1 year ago
In M. Petrovic, R. Roberts, andM. Ramsay.
A survey of health professionals in Wales revealed that 13 percent of general practitioners (GPs), 27 percent of practice nurses, and 7 percent of health visitors (visiting nurses) believed that there was a “very likely or possible association between MMR and autism.
mrscambuster1001 1 year ago
We'll see if any of these citations have anything to do with MMR vaccine and autism.
Meanwhile, here is one for you:

And while you are checking, why not post something that supports this quack's research? Considering it began in 1998, I can only hope that some other studies would have been down to confirm of support it...

That's because I have notes in a notebook that I read in a library that I now had to go find online...
I don't trust ANYTHING I see or hear online. There's too much room for sensationalism and bias and just plain bs...
applepei00 1 year ago
I'm going to consider this discussion over, because you have now been provided with OVERWHELMING evidence to the contrary of your position... At some point you are going to simply say that its all government propaganda, because you can't support your own position with ANY references of ANY kind, and you now have plenty to the contrary...
applepei00 1 year ago
Again... This does not even pass the COMMON SENSE test. You really don't need all these studies and crap to call your local Health Department and/or the CDC and ask them for statistics...
And the statistics show that it is safer to vaccinate, by a factor of 10!
Even including this scam artist's data...
Call them and ask...
