  • Quick question: I am relly drunk.

  • hello i need a help because i have cracked the Wii and the question is can i Use an USB to Send the games to the Wii Console ?

  • This is really frustrating me. I can format my HDD, but once I format and try to move an .iso over (it's Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, if that helps), it takes a split second, says it moved it, and then nothing. It doesn't move the game over to the HDD as far as I can tell. Help?

  • is there anyway u can put the files off ure WBFS manager back onto ure pc ?

  • I downloaded Mario Partey 8, it's 1.34 GB, what is the nessecary file type? ISO? It's just a file with no extension, at all. DO i convert it? Help anyone?

  • Okay, I've tried all I can but I can't drag iso files into the manager and they won't appear when I use the browse button. I can't put isos into the usb!!! btw, i'm trying to put a japanese iso into it (not sure if us games work though, never tried) Please help!!! bbtw, The game I'm trying to get is Taiko no Tatsujin wii (seems awesome.)

  • @jrged well, have the same probelm as you, i trying by adding ".ISO" at the end of the fil name, but when i loaded it on wbfs manager, it loaded and everything, but its says on an empty file on mine. OH , a tip to make it easier, save your game file on the deskopt so you dont have to go so much thorugh files.

  • I have a question i have a .wbfs game not an iso how do i put that on a wbfs sd card

  • *starts video* (5 years later) *still watching intro* I mean damn its a good intro but does it have to be that long?

  • @SuperMario64N64 - have you tried the USB Loader GX homebrew, if you put your Iomega hdd in and start that on the wii it will format it for you then just use wbfs manager on your pc to put games on it.

  • @RamboJambo21 yes I tried but when strating USB Loader GX with my Iomega plugged in , it says "DSI error occured" with some code lines.

  • i already have games on HDD but i what to add games and on the WBFS Manager you need 1st to format it, if ever i format it would my games be deleted?

  • um wat kind of hard drive your useing cus u have alot of space

  • I have a problem that i just can't seem to solve and was wondering if you could help?

I got the legend of zelda wind waker ISO file.

Browse for it, click "add to drive".

It loads like half a seccond then says its finished but it doesnt show up on the flash drive!

This is super frustrating! i even re-downloaded the ISO and tried to load the .rar file

    Thanks in advance!

  • Quick question, what if i already have games on my USB but i want to add new ones, and i used a WBFS Manager on another computer to put the games?

  • when i press format it says an error ocurred during formatting. I am using a 8gb usb

    and run a windows 7 64 bit

  • @davecoolkid Woops I was using the usb at the moment, I am such a noob XD

  • Will this work with Flash Drives? I've tried and the game doesn't show up in any of my USB Loaders.

  • First: tnx for this helpful tutorial. Thumbs up! I still have a question about the HDD. Can i use an USB powered HDD or do i have to use one with a power supply cord?

  • @Md1986ok I think USB powered ones work, because I had a device that would say it was charging when i plugged it in via USB to the wii.

  • @SamWhite2000 Ok tnx for your answer! I have another question. I have an European Wii (PAL) can i play NTSC games (iso files of course) or will it crash?

  • @Md1986ok yea u can just make sure to force PAL display on bootup

  • well i think you need it to be usb 2.00 not 3.00

  • @SamWhite2000 I want to transfer games from my wbfs formatted drive to my ntfs hard disk.Im a bit of a noob.So pleaze make the explanation short.

  • okay, I have a question:

on the WBFS Manager, when I try to browse a game (upload, whatever you call it), it give me this message--

"Error(s) occurred while reading some of the ISO files. Not enough free space in temporary folder, choose a different temporary folder with at least 4.8 GB free."

An that''s where I got stuck! I do know how to change the temporary folder (and yes, I've tried), but it still keeps saying the same message!

I've tried My Documents, Downloads, etc.

    HELP! THANK YOU!!!

  • @djmiles099 how much data is free on your Actual Hard DRive, make sure both ur computer and the hard drive for your wii have enough memory.

  • @SamWhite2000 Is there a seperate program or something to add games to the hard drives??? I have a hard drive with games on it.... but when I try to use WBFS Manager it ONLY wants to let me format..... so Im assuming its not in WBFS format wich is why I ask if theres another program.... thanks

  • Comment removed

  • @SMSeeder355 Well it somehow decided to format. I used a flashdrive instead because I had a lot fo important stuff on my external harddrive. I tried transferring SSBB onto it and it didn't transfer because the flashdrive didn't carry enough memory. Thanks.

  • When I click on format it says that everything on my hard drive will be deleted none of the file will be recoverable. I don't want that to happen. What should I do?

  • I've heard there are problems with files bigger than 4GIGS when you format to FAT32.Have you placed any games bigger than 4GIGS using WBFS manager?

  • i have 1.3tb is that to big?

  • @CASSBMG yea, u need to partition it into increments of 500 GB or less

  • @SamWhite2000 Can i use USB FLASH DRIVE ????????

  • HEY MAN U CAN PUT SOME GAMES TO DOWNLOAD BECAUSE I DON'T NOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD GAMES

  • @hljosehacks put some games up for download? what do u mean? do u mean as in direct download? if ur asking that, no. I can link you to some torrents if u want, but u need a torrent client.

  • Comment removed

  • @AceS4289 its formatting, unless you reformat it to NTFS or FAT windows cannot read it.

  • Can I use My Ipod to save the games?

  • Hey Guys,I have a softmodded wii 4.3E and i've had it like this for like a month but for some reason yesterday, my SDHC card couldn't be read in my Wii,It used to work fine and read all my homebrew stuff like FCEUX GX etc.

I recently moved the mega man 9 and 10 DLCs to my SDHC from my wii to see if i could get my DLCs working cus they would'nt work either

MY SDHC still works in my pc and my wii still reads SD cards so i don't know why my Wii wont read SDHC anymore, can anyone help thanks :)

  • hey when i try to add the game to the hard drive it doesnt appear on the left side of wbfs manager

  • question: can you send the game in rar format instead of ISO?

  • thanks

  • when i go to browser for my iso file (Dk country returns) it says it cannot find it.

  • i share a hard drive my family they use it for movies id like to use it for this .Would they still beable to watch movies on their PC when and if i need to format the USB Drive?

  • Thanks

  • I couldn't listen to your video anymore. I had to stop with your whining voice and your cocaine sniffing in the background. Your voice is so annoying and I can't believe nobody has said anything about it. I would rather be in a nazi camp with them sticking needles in my eyes then to listen to your voice and your sniffling. God you suck.

  • What do i do if there is more than 1 .iso file, like part 1-50 of the game?

  • @nidoyam if it comes in fifty parts, it isnt a iso file, so wat u gotta do is get winRAR and then after installing winRAR right click on the 1st of the 30 or 50 or so files, and click extract which will make a folder that will create 1 (ONE) iso file in it, that file is the one to place on ur HDD.

  • @SamWhite2000 thnx man!!!

  • HELP!

When I try to load my drive it says ''Drive could not be read, make sure it's formatted in WBFS format. Then I try to format it but then it gives an error ''Could not format drive'' :((

  • @littlejumpfreak just try formating under FAT32 under windows explorer, then try formatting to WBFS... if that doesnt work tell me. and also, make sure the drive isnt being used by any other programs or processes

  • @SamWhite2000 I did do that, and it said: An error has occurred while trying to format the drive.

  • can u just put the wii game in the laptop and put it on wbfs manager

  • @nrm1234b then the whole point of modding a wii becomes useless why own the real when you can play it for free.

  • I followed all the instructions, but when I load my ISO to my drive (yes its the right drive and formatted), the loading screen comes up for about 2 seconds and then says the transfer was a success. But then it says that nothing is on my drive and when I plug it back into the usb loader on my wii, it says no games are on it what do I do please help

  • my comp says i have to run a 32 bit wbfs wat should i do with that?

  • @rockerboy63 u probably downloaded the wrong version, download the x86 instead of x64 version of the program.

  • Once i try to put more games on my hard drive (after playing from the hard drive) I my computer or the wbfs program cannot find my drive. The drive letter doesn't show. Is there a solution to this problem?

  • this video sucks u didnt explain what u were doing well enough when you loaded you're external HD peple won't know what u were talking bout FAILLLLLLLLLLLL!

  • @123rubenE He explained it well, NOOOOOOOOOOB GO TO HEEEEEEEEEEL

  • firt i ripped some of tthe isos off the disks of the games i have with imgburn... then i put them on my usb with wbfs manager but when i tried to load hem with uloader the screen blacks out... can u help me?¿?¿?

  • once i format my hard drive into the wbfs form how do i change it back?

  • @Djayice25 go to My computer, then right click on the drive, select format, and approve. in a matter of minutes, the drive should be wiped free, and usable for windows things again.

  • @SamWhite2000 i tried that and it said something about parameter o_o

  • Check you mailbox here in youtube, please! Maybe u could help me ...

  • dude go easy with the torrents! your isp can temporarily shut you down if they see large amounts of data flowing to one area

  • can i use a disk instead of a usb stick ? cause i tried and it wouldnt format it said there was an error

  • @medonte3 yea, u can use a DVD-R disc burned at x4 speed or less using ImgBurn

  • hi samwhite2000.... Pardon my ignorance.. i bought a td HD with 800 games and movies... i soft modded the wii and it worked prefectly for a couple of weeks... until it fell on its side.. now when i try to load the games in the wii i get a msg that says "wbfs initial failed" is my hard drive useless or is my version of the gbx loader.. i was actually using the wiiflow.. i have absolutely no idea what isos or all that is and i have never met anyone that does.. thats why im here... pls help

  • @allialli im sorry it has taken a while to respond, but i havent gotten the time to get on as often anymore, but im pretty sure its the physical damage, or the data on your HD is corrupted do to physical properties, when a HD disc is bumped while playing or reading, the metal bar that reads the magnetized data on it gets in contact with the metal disc, causing files to become corrrupted on that sector of the disc. you might need to reformat if it says its corrupted.

  • I formated my drive while i had games on it and now when i i try to use it again it say Not in WBFS Format do you think you can help?

  • @Borat35000vr you probably formatted it under windows format, when the pop up appears on your PC screen, didnt you? you shouldn't have done that, you are suppose to only format in WBFS format with the program. but if you didnt do this, then idk why the program is saying it isnt in WBFS format anymore.... otherwise try updating the program, or check if your PC is a 32-bit or 64-bit OS, and get the correct version.

  • i have a 1tb drive in using now, but it seems not to work, is it becaus eof the size or do i have to format the drive in a special way?

  • @lumel666 the program only supports up to 500GB Hard Drives, you will have to partition the hardrive into two different 500GB halves. i reccomend using one half for the wii and one half for your needs, since i only have a 500GB one, and its only about 40% full with over 100 wii games on it.... you will never need 1TB for a wii...lol

  • Do you know how to copy a game from a dvd into a usb flash drive and be able to play it??

  • @alejobradley idk, it depends what you mean, if u mean a DVD wii disc that is bought from the store (the REAL ones), then most likely no, since only a few disc drives are able to read those. if you mean a DVD-R disc that has wii game info on it, most likely no, since they are basically read only, and you cant really alter them. it also depends on your dvd drive... if the disc is a RW, then i suppose you can rip the info from that and into you CPU and into the USB...

  • @alejobradley yes you can copy them use usb loader. then wbfs manager to get the file then convert to iso. Good luck.

  • I setup WBFS Manager 3 but I get an error message when I try to start the program, and it shuts down. What could be the problem?

  • @boupap i have no idea what is going on, are u sure u downloaded the rite one? cuz there is x86 and x64, x86 is for 32-bit and x64 is for 64 bit.

  • @SamWhite2000 I tried in another pc and it worked fine, so problem solved! Thanks for your help!

  • i have a problem: when i put a game that has size over 3 gb on sd card and when i restart my wii (i have a wiikey fusion), my wii starts and just freezes. games that are smaller then 3 gb work fine! plz help me

  • @1504luka im afraid you are one of the few i can't help, as you can see i respond to those who need help, but i lack knowledge when it comes to wiikey.... so im sorry i cant help u.

  • do you have to already have the iso file(s) on your SD card/usb drive?

  • I have Windows 7 and a 16GB USB Drive and I can't add anything over 3GB, I can add stuff like WiiPlay but I can't add anything over 3GB or it will freeze, especially SSBB.

  • wbfs manager wont load. i have yet to have run it because the moment i double click it and error message comes up saying that it need to shut down.

i have the newest version of .NET framework and i tried it with almost every version.

also i have XP. plz help!

  • @WingedEllmo i've never used this program on XP, but try right clicking and looking at properties, if there are compatibility tabs then try using anything that u may find there, if that doesnt work come back to me...

  • @SamWhite2000 nope. still problems. it used to work but i had to reformat my HD because of a virus. now it just won't work at all

  • @WingedEllmo are u sure u have the right version installed for ur PC? remember there is 32 bit and 64 bit.

  • u snortin coke lol jp homie thnx for the help

  • quiestion: Can i use my USB harddrive for my pc AND my wii?

  • @ignap0 if you partition it first...

  • @SamWhite2000 is partiting (?) safe? , and wath dissadvantages can partiting it can cause?

  • @ignap0 yea partitioning is safe, if not it wouldnt be available or endorsed really... and for it to work properly i recommend defragging ur usb hard drive. but remember its best when its empty. what dissadvantages? well there's no dissadvantages, but let me clarify partitioning, it splits the hard disk into sections, in this situation u'd proabably need 2, so u indicate how much u want to make the second partition and it will take that amount of GB indicated away from the main partition.

  • @SamWhite2000 thank you fine sir. :D

  • @SamWhite200

Wahtss the name of diss song?

  • @1Rolman1 look at the red annotation 10 seconds into the vid...

  • torrent is as slow as a turtle even with my amazing connection

    jdownloader ftw!!!!

  • r u a coke head?

  • does this only work for usb drives or can i use it for sd card/micro sd cards.

  • @scott1506 i've had ppl say it works on SD cards b4, but i've never try it myself, it never hurts to try, just copy and paste all your SD card data to a folder on your computer first then try formatting it to WBFS... then if it doesnt work format it back to windows format on My Computer...

  • Can you help me? When i double click the iso or rar file in browse, it says errror while transferring, make sure the space in the temporary folder is at least 4.13 gb...

    This never happened before.....

  • @starforcenetwork you probably have to much temp crap all over your computer download CCleaner and run it to your settings, tell me if this worked. CCleaner deletes any caches, temp, and unnecessary files from your computer.

  • When I click 'load' appears the following message: "Error ocurred while loading drive. Make sure the drive is not in use or open and that is has been formatted to WBFS format."

Can you help me PLEASE ? I simply CAN NOT use this program.. I'm begging for help.

  • @PossessWithin did you do as the tutorials told you to? you must format the drive, and make sure no other process or program is using it, for instance dont have any other windows of any sort open if you've done the previous. you must format under WBFS format in order to use the program for your External USB drive.

  • @SamWhite2000 Yes, I did exactly you did in the tutorial. Is possible that the problem is in Net Framework ?

  • @PossessWithin im not sure what it is though, could you give me a list of your processes while your trying to do this? and yes, it might be your microsoft framework too...

  • hey where do you get these small games

all games that i download and then unpack are 4.5g or more

i have a 4g usb stick so i cant put anithing on it

    please answer

    BTW nice tutorial

  • @xdwonder the default size for Wii games from an iso file are 4.37 GB, but however, there are these "Scrubbed" wii files, which means they are lowered down to contain what the game uses, and has no updates and filling space... I get my scrubbed wii files from The Pirate Bay

  • @xdwonder you can also download " wiu 1.1 " and scrub/trim games yourself. its pretty easy. just look for a guide ib giigke,

  • @Deliathin it was made by paranoiddj001

  • @Deliathin its a remix of His World, made by a fan, i have the file with me in my computer i could upload it to filefront so u can download it, just tell me when...

  • not p2p

  • thanks a lot.

  • This is the only good tutorial I've found for this. Thank you very much. I have one question though. I tried to download the x86, but when I tried to run the setup.exe it said I have a 32-bit operating system, and that I should try downloading one for 32-bit. Maybe I've misunterstood, but isn't x86 for 32-bit?

  • @Samus213 yes, x86 is just 32-bit, and x64 is 64-bit...... idk y, but that's how it is :D

  • Sorry but wtf is wrong with you dude with that umnfff umnfff umnffff the whole time are you on druks?

  • @walid562 @walid562 I was a bit sick, if you would have read the annotations you would know, and I'm not familiar on what a druk is. I'm sorry.

  • TANKS for this tuto

  • how do you load a .wbfs file onto a usb loader? some of the games i download are in .wbfs format and Wbfs Manager 2.5 can't find those type of files

  • i have a Q if you want that the pc use the usb again what must you do because its than a wbfs file?

  • @gthd21 In order to use your USb device with the computer itself again, you need to format it, which means you delete everything off of it when you go to my computer, and right click on the correct drive and click format. Format or quick format, it doesnt matter as long as you format it with windows explorer. then your computer can use it.

  • when i installed WBFS manager i cant find it on my computer (windows 7)

  • @phazonruler3000 just becuz u installed it doesnt mean there will be an icon like on mine, try going to start, all programs and scroll down to WBFS manager, and click on that and on the folder. If it isnt tehre, try re-installing, (or un-install then re-install), OR are you sure you installed the correct version (x86 means 32-bit operating systems and x64 means 64-bit operating systems) Windows 7 comes with both, and WBFS has both versions.

  • when i try to load the drive with my harddrive it says make sure it is not open or something and that its in wbfs format but it is!!!!!

    what did i do wrong?

  • when i download a game, am i looking for an ISO or .RAR file, or do both work?

  • @leevanx360 Both do work, however iso files can be burned on discs as well, but rar cant. To make a rar an iso file, you need to extract the file and you should get an iso, also, if you get a torrent download of a game, but its seperated into like 20 different rar files, right click on the first .rar file and click extract, that should make a folder in the folder you are currently in, which in it, will have the .iso file.

  • It takes so long to put on my USB but for all my friends it's really fast however my computer is faster then there's do you know why that is?

  • @shadowdjdarklord12 Have you tried using a port that is USB 2.0 High Speed? Certain USB ports and certain USB cables can perform better than others, if your computer has more than 4, then you are probably using a lower speed port... try using a different port.

  • @SamWhite2000 Now that you bring it up I'm using a USB hub, I'll try without the USB hub, thx! ^_^

  • It takes so long to put on my USB but for all my friends it's really fast however my computer is faster then there's do you know why that is?

  • nice tut!brush your nose!!! ;-)

  • Hey i got a 16 gb usb, backed up and formated. Then i opened WBFS, chose the usb(when i looked at the computer, it was found as an removable disk, not hard drive) and loaded. Worked fine. Then i browsed Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but when i was about to "add to drive", it said the estimated size was ca. 6,93 GB! What did go wrong?

  • When I use wbfs manager, it won't load my hard drive unless I format it. I don't want to format it because I already have games in my hard drive. Any advice?

  • Do u need soft mod or homebrew 4 dis

  • You are the MAN, Bro...

    Thanks for this tutorial...

    Now I'm flying...

  • no prob, if you got anymore troubles feel free to ask me for help. i can post vids.

  • help please i installed WBFS Manager but when i go to start it up i get a error message

  • @XxicykillaxX

You installed it on windows huh? and you get an error message, please tell me what it says, and if you cant, then try un-installing it and installing the other version, because 2 versions of the program exist. one for 32 bit computers, and one for 64 bit.

  • Hi Sam, Yeah I got your Pm. Thanks

  • can you make a vid that uses mac!!!!!

  • hey sam i've downloaded wbfs manager and i'm trying to format my flash memory. but it says error occured while formatting. can you help me what to do?

  • I had the same problem but i downloaded the previous version and it worked!

  • flash memory? It has to be a USB flash drive or USB Hard Drive.... are you trying to plug ur wii via USB to ur computer? then you are doing it wrong.... You need a flash drive or USB hard drive.

  • ...What are the steps 'how to' to be succesful in the following flow marked with '>'. Wii game .rar file dwnld form usenet with Grabit > convert .rar to ISO file > browse with WBFS mgr > load it to the USB HDD. In simpler words, 'I would like to find a tutorial on how to load a wii USB hdd with a game from usenet newzbin(NZB) files'.

  • you got my PM rite?

  • Hi Sam, Jan here from Holland. I have not yet found a tutorial part on the following issue. Thats why I'm here to give it a try. You show the WBFS manager and click on browse, simply you click a ISO file and select it to the right pane of WBFS. It looks so simple. O.k. my turn. From usenet I download the file with Grabit. Eventually its there in the folder but the file is a .rar file of a Wii game. to be continued in next reaction......
