I really dont see why amarr ships are good :s i mean ok. They are tanky and they have endless ammo (only t1, but still) and what else? Cool design :s

Well amarr is awesome for fleet works, huge dps awesome buffer and can dictate range by swapping lenses. No where ells do u get the same combo. gellenthe don't have the range, minmatar lack the buffer (and are shield and thus weak to amarr guns) and caldari well, they are caldari so shit for really big engagements.

@Morgilson Now i havent played eve for several months right now, but as i remember it, t2 minmatar ships have like 90% innate EM resist. Caldari, i agree. Imo, drake is the only good thing there (xcep their op titan)

u are correct however the bonus only applies to tec 2 ships and Battleships is what is needed in sov warfare, not HAC's. It is also worth noticing that amarr is not used often for solo pvp (they are used but not asmucht as minmatar), but for fleetworks they are just awsome

@Morgilson Honestly, do tell more bout the meta. Ive never been in sov wars yet, mostly going rogue and roaming nullsec with my gang, and to be honest, i havent played the game for like half a year if not more.

well sov wars are fought over object in space, POS'es or stations and the like. more then one encounter is needed to get controll with or destroy sucht a thing due to the object going into reinforcment mode (it canot be shot at while in reinforment). A BS is good at this due to their range, DPS and tank, its posible to fights for many days over controll of a system . roaming fleets are thus rare in a sov war, they always have a spesific perpose (sry spelling)

i'm picturing a minmatar rebel gang on route to amarr space with the intro, and then when the drums hit that's when shit hits the fan and the nearby amarr patrol finds out they've got company over local coms. 4:50 plus is the calm before the storm and the wait from the warp and when the drums hit its the first engagement. 6:30 on is the fight where everyone knows minmatar would pwn. MATAR PRIDE!

the typhoon has amazing dps/alpha along with the speed to kite all the other battleships. and the tempest is great at sniping or taking out smaller, hac and bc sized opponents with its 2 neuts dual webs and small/medium drones. theyre both also great for remote rep gangs. and they don't really look that junky, the tempest looks like a t-rex, and the typhoon looks like what a modern day human space ship would be :3

This song makes me picture a battle in eve.The first part sounds like caldari missiles echoing as they zoom past and then hit there target with a thud. Then swift and agile gallantee drones start hitting the caldari ship very quickly with each shot being followed by a next. Then I imagine an amarr battleship entering the scene hitting the gallantee with his lasers while the caldari reloads. Then the drums are an minmatar battleship warping in and firing its howtizers off. The battle continues...

I have a recording of the in-game version of this song. It plays (rarely) during certain combat missions. It does sound quite a bit different from this version. It's a little less heavy on the bass and more fast paced.
