  • I honestly think he was on speed here! HAHAHAHAHAHA this is 'prestissimo' not allegro :D

  • Magnificent! I played this piece for an exam back in the 1950s not nearly as fast as Itzakh! His technique is incredible!

  • Did he improvise those trills and stuff or were they on the part already?

  • @CR15TH19N This was an encore.

  • Still the Master!

  • mt bom ;D

  • I liked it because of how technically perfect it is, but there isn't much artistry in it. I didn't pick up much on dynamics which is what really shapes the piece, and it really loses something when it's this fast. And on top of it being fast as it is, some parts were really rushed. I know the piece is allegro, but it has so much more character and depth to it at a little slower tempo.

  • @Mgsoloist Yes I thought that too. The dynamics give the piece shape. It is truly impressive that he is able to play at that speed but it does lose appeal to the actual piece. It is easier to follow when it is in a slower tempo which allows the audience to fully appreciate all the artistry.

  • eu sou o proximo perlman acreditem suahsauhsuh

  • so amazing.

  • what an awesome bawz! :O

  • Genius.

  • r those even 16th notes or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000th notes :o

  • LIKE A BOSS

  • i dont like it that much to be honest. i think he rushed it a bit. it kinda lost it's character

  • I thought I was good at that piece until I saw him..

  • I played this for Solo and Ensemble, and I got complimented for landing the trills well, especially at 1:00. Now that I see him play, I feel like a tiny, insignificant shrimp. Itzhak Perlman is perfect. *----* BRAVO!

  • eu posso sentir a paixão em cada nota

  • I lose all hope of playing this song.

  • Well, some people didn't like it. I liked this better than ever. It's really enjoyable this kind of concert...Whatever he's doing here, it sounds great to me.

  • knowing him, he was probably sight reading..... :P

  • @LiableLife for me that's depressing haha.....

  • what is with old men in the classical music industry wearing these shirts

  • he makes all the classical violin songs sound extremely easy.

  • squeak @ 0:11 :P

    he plays this so fast!

  • I never thought I would live to see the day I actually 'disliked' in the very sense of the word anything that Perlman played, I thought it was literally IMPOSSIBLE, yet I really disliked this and I don't think I can even listen to it for a second time! At first I thought someone on purpose fast-forwarded the video as it is RIDICULOUSLY fast, so fast it's like watching some black and white charlie chaplin comedy! utterly abysmal sorry Perlman :( Love and respect you always but this is not for me!

  • is it me or did he lose so much weight and aged as well??

  • @tametataphysika I think it's his hair. I've never seen it so gray! Well, I guess he's gotta get old some day. :-)

  • ......... ok i quit.

  • so many epic faces

  • dios, q maestro.

  • <3

  • Perfect *--*

  • Exquisito !
