  • To all those people chastising the guy for using his bare hands to mix the ingredients;

I suppose you guys prepare your daily meals/snacks wearing gloves then?

Do you really think that 100% of the food you eat outside is made under 100% hygienic conditions?

    Seriously...get real.

  • Hi - you can use butter instead of margarine if you like. In terms of potatoes - we have not used any in this recipe.

  • Also what about potatoes in the recipie don't you need them ???

  • Do u have 2 use magarine

  • gonna try that out

  • Hi - yes, you are correct - strong white flour is the same as bread flour. Hope it all turns out ok! Thanks

  • hello ! thanks for sharing the recipe. is strong white flour the same as bread flour ? thanks in advance for your help.

  • tastes like deep fried asshole

  • i love the swift movement of your hands as you knead the dough. You really know what you're doing. I hope to be able to afford food soon, I want to start cooking!! :D

  • YUMMY!

  • There is nothing to stop you using olive oil - it would certainly make the batter and doughnuts taste a bit different but you could give it a go! It would be a more expensive option for cooking doughnuts as well.

  • can u use olive oil

  • You may want to experiment to find what consistency you want to the batter - what was filmed here tasted great and had a light and fluffy texture when cooked - best of luck!

  • i thought donut batter should be more liquid

  • Well! Finallly i found a Video with No Deslikes :) I'm Shoo Happy to See this easy way of making our Taste bud's pampered and Also to spread love and sweetness with the help of this superb recipe! Thank you so much for this upload.

  • I am a Turkish citizen and this food is really meet with our taste. I made donut with this recipe and it happened so good. This food will be my favorite sweetie.

  • it tastes like a bread

  • It really is personal preference! Clean hands are important of course.

  • um the dough looks nice , but really no offence have u considered using a whisk instead of your hands to mix the mixture? it is kind of inhygienic.....

  • Sorry - just to confirm (a spelling error below) - leave in a warm place for an hour or so.

  • Yes - absolutely correct. Place in an airing cupboard or other warm place for an jour or so until the dough effectively doubles in size. By now the dough should be much softer to touch and if you cut it in half it should look like a sort of honeycomb caused by pockets of gas from the yeast working in a warm temperature.

  • i suppose u had to leave the dough for 1-2 hrs..

  • You could use a whisk if you want - it is all down to personal preference. My father-in-law who is the chef here prefers to do this by hand. Let us know how you get on!

  • i dont wanna be mean but why dont u use a whisk

  • your still wearing your ring while making the dough thats not very hygienic

  • That's a great idea to add an egg, flour from the store is usually too low in protein for a good bread dough.

  • Hi. Information on the full ingredients and recipe can be found on the cookeryskills website - the link is on the channel homepage. The quantities needed are; 350g strong white flour, pinch of salt, 30g caster sugar, 50g margarine, 7g fast acting yeast, 65ml milk, 65ml water, 1 large egg and vegetable oil for frying. For the coating, use 3 tablespoons of caster sugar and half a tablespoon of ground cinnamon. This recipe will make approx 12 doughnuts. Best of luck!
