No question the 5D is sharper, but the 7D is a more advanced video camera. Having broadcast standard frame rates - both 23.98 and 29.97, plus 720p60, make the 7d the current preference if you are going to spend a lot of time producing professional video with a DSLR camera..
what did you encode in with this video? I recorder in 1080p and downsized to 720p in quicktime. Then in premiere exported to adobe encoded in quicktime(settings quality 100 , 1280x 720, square pixels)... but no luck in that quality you have. Any suggestions?
i dont think is your post thats making ur footage not look like this. Look at his light setup, it makes that lens capture everything very sharp. Also his camera configurations were match with the lighting. Try to play with those settings first. and try again in premiere.
wow nice video . i Love it. I recorded my videos with a 5d2 also, but did not come out as clear as yours. Do I need a better lens and encode a certain format.
Ezt a videót akárhányszor nézem meg, mindig lenyűgöz! Csúcs! :)

How did you get 720p with the 5d? I thought it only shot 1080p? Did you convert it in post?

I'm telling you, the 5d just shoots much sharper than the 7d. I think it's worth the extra 600 bucks
