Being a teen can be a very difficult thing. Bodies and looks change through your entire life. Beauty does play a big role in our society and I won't lie to you and say that being beautiful or ugly doesn't matter. Opinions are formed in a matter of seconds by how a person looks. My advice to you is to not let other people affect your self esteem. People come and go in your life. You have to live with you every day. Be happy with what you have and not what you don't have.

so i got knee surgery recently and i walk with this enormous brace and with this embarrassing limp and people try not to look at me but i can tell i cause people to look away and guys are suddenly not interested anymore... I'm still the same person inside!

I struggle with self confidence because of my acne. I've had acne ever since I was 12, and I still have it today at 16. I have some amazing friends though that tell me I am beautiful even with my flaws. Honestly I think Damon looks great for an acne sufferer, and he is an amazing person that is loved by many. It only takes one thing that somebody says about you that makes you feel insecure about yourself and it sticks with you forever. everyday of MY life i look in the mirror and see dissapointment. I was bullied for being ugly, For having loads of achne and for being freekishly tall for 12 years old. It went to the extreme of me desperately wanting to end my life by commiting suicide, Then one of my friends said to me about you and how funny, cute and inspiring you were. This was the first video i saw of you and it made me see the good sides of me and improve the bad side of me. Simply you saved my life. Thank you for that xx

It could always be worse. I knew a kid in high school who had acne like I've never seen before. His entire face was covered, it was probably the worst case I've ever seen. His graduation picture was photoshopped to take away the acne and he looked like a totally different person. He was a real nice kid too, I always felt bad. Judging from the video, your skin doesn't look bad. And check out Dane Cooks face. His whole face is scarred from acne and he has no problem getting the ladies.

I find it so strange how someone as good looking at you can have low self esteem. Believe me there are NO boys as good looking as you from where I live. I bet your acne will look a lot worse to you than it does to other people, because believe me a lot of my friends never even notice flaws I point out about myself. Even when I imagine you with really bad acne you still look beautiful, and I know you said no ones perfect but you are in my eyes :)

So you're probably not going to see this since it's an old video, but I started getting zits in the 3rd grade. I'm 14 now though. You tweeted this morning that acne doesn't make you ugly, and that meant a lot to me. Life would be so much better if more people saw things the way you do. Having bad skin sucks, but I don't let it hold me back anymore and I don't try to cover it up with tons of make up. Everyone still makes fun, but I've learned to fight back and ignore it. (:

I struggle with self confidence because of my acne. I've had acne ever since I was 12, and I still have it today at 16. I have some amazing friends though that tell me I am beautiful even with my flaws. Honestly I think Damon looks great for an acne sufferer, and he is an amazing person that is loved by many. He deserves to feel confident, we all do. God made us all beautiful in our own ways :)

It went to the extreme of me desperately wanting to end my life by commiting suicide, Then one of my friends said to me about you and how funny, cute and inspiring you were. It could always be worse. I knew a kid in high school who had acne like I've never seen before. His entire face was covered, it was probably the worst case I've ever seen. His graduation picture was photoshopped to take away the acne and he looked like a totally different person. He was a real nice kid too, I always felt bad. Judging from the video, your skin doesn't look bad. And check out Dane Cooks face. His whole face is scarred from acne and he has no problem getting the ladies.

I know where you're coming from. I've always been insecure about anything. When I look back at old pictures, I wonder what in the world was I thinking? - I looked fine, I wasn't fat, my face looked fine, my hair was nice and so on. I always look around me at school...there are probably 1 in every 30 ppl at my school that have what you can consider bad acne. And I just wish I could have clear skin.
