  • i finally found my apartment!

  • Harbor Freight will have a similar one for 800 bucks.

  • Lista boxes, are stronger, and cost less . Swivel storage is also very strong and cost less .

  • My Snap on Dealer said this box will cease to be in production after the 2011 year. Over priced and not practicle???

  • That's $2000 just for those casters.

  • I dont know where you guys work but most of the Ford Techs I work with would have to be buried in that box by the time its paid off.

  • looks like 2 72 inch tool boxes bolted together, not to impressed

Not worth the 40 or 50,000 dollarts

  • $19,995.00 price tag new... around $12k used. geeeeeeez.....

  • @bieli0

You can buy new cars for less...

A toolbox is nothing but bent sheet metal, spot welds, & ball bearings.

Now imagine the amount of work that goes into making a car.

    No justification for snap-ons prices.

  • @ladefreakndah I somewhat agree, But Automobiles are cheaper because they sell them in mass quantities. higher output= lower cost per unit.

  • @tehatemachine

Volume should have nothing to do with it... I can buy a reproduction 68 firebird fully welded body shell from YearOne for $14k and that is extremely low volume with the use of complex dies.

Hell other toolbox manufactures that sell at a fraction of what snapon sells their boxes for. Cars are constantly undergo R&D for safety, fuel efficiency, emissions standards, & new interiors/exteriors. What the hell kind of R&D has gone into toolboxes in the last 25 years?

  • @ladefreakndah I was showing my point of how tougher the market it to hit with automobiles and how costs have to stay down. But yeah the price for this tool box is to much for what it's actually worth.

  • My MACSIMIZER 1900 with dual side cabs is just a hair shorter but looks better, cheaper, heavier and probably stronger. Oh, and you can actually touch the rear of the drawers. I love snap on but when your tool catolog is 1/4 tool boxes, somethings not right. 10,000 for a epiq roll cab????? I dont think so

  • lol... you can get twice the storage by using a classic 96 with a top chest or matco 6s with a top chest, this is just a godamn waste! id slap another tech for buying one, not to mention floor space is at a premium in most shops!

  • why would you be some cruel as to post this without a retail price!? spill it $

  • @thebrizzell If ya have to ask, ya can't afford it

  • apparently nobody commenting on here is a tech. i don't know how it works at your shop if you are but at my shop (land rover jaguar dealer) toolboxes stay against the wall, rolling around is done with utility carts

  • Why? Seriously,I want to see this roll around with tools in it. I see no purpose in it other than waiste of money.

  • Where do i get a shaft for it to tow it with my truck? :)

  • over priced????????

  • So ¿Why do you need wheels for?¿ Are you going to move this 1tone cabinet + 1tone of tools all over the garage? Then they should think in fitting a small engine at the back ....... in any case NICE CABINTET

  • how the hell are you supposed to move that turd....that would be as burdensome as a 24 inch cock....no thanks

  • you went mad snap on

  • i wish i was that rich

  • So like instead of rolling your roll around to your project do you bring your project to your "roll around?"

  • Does it come with an extension for my penis? I mean is that not the whole underlining sales technique their using? "Wanna be MrBig in your shop?" I think the Advertising execs are playing on the need for (some) men to feel they are BIG!... Pfft! Awesome toolbox but the Ad sucks. Whats the next model up called, Commando 2000, Hercules etc?

  • Boat trade-ins accepted.

  • Can I have one.

  • This box screams "small penis". Enough said.

  • its also the largest waste of money you could ever think of.

i guess thats y its snap on the only good thing about snapon is there wrenches flank drive plus the best thats the only thing there actualy good with

  • how do they get it off the tool truck? lol

  • WTF?!?!?!? I can't believe this. I'll buy it........when I win the lottery. I have about 15,000 invested between my box and tools (all snap on & blue point) and the box is just about 3/4 full. not to mention I have the classic 78, which is about 1/10th the size of this. the snap on truck aint gunna be able to deliver this one, you're gunna need a damn tow truck.

  • Thats what, a 20, 25K box?

  • I have read on face book Snap On is hving problems with their new toolboxes rusting out.A couple had this hapen so far

  • Well people are not paying their billls. I have almost every drawer full except three or four. I have had serveral dofferent boxes

  • Fuck financing threw snap-on, I bought a new kra series box. the one they put a dump truck on. listed for 9 grand. i bought it brand spanking new for $3,000 cash. them guys get hungry and will sell cheaper then the books.Thats so damn big its ugly. come on looks like two boxes put together. if you had every tool in the book you wouldnt need that big. must have a lot of car parts, wire ties, cleaning stuff and junk that shouldnt go in a tool box. buy a shelf or two and have a smaller box.

  • I got the box

With all tools in I only have 3 drawers left to file. Economy put the brakes on. It is a bear to move the only way is with a fork lift in on and off the trailer. Once you set it you don't move it.

  • Pound for pound that thing costs more than a new Cadillac.........and it's just a toolbox.

  • uhh roger, clear the deck, im bringing this bird in for landing, chhhh over

  • If you have a $30,000 tool box like this, I can only imagine the Value of all the tools inside that thing!!! I could see it being $100,000 of tools kept in it or more, especially if they're all Snap-On tools!!! That Box isn't moving around. Once it's in place, it's not going anywhere. 1 ton Empty, could be 3 tons loaded up!!! Even if I had the money for that thing, I'd have no place to put it, it's just way to LONG!!!

It is a nice box, but bigger is not always better.

  • i've know guys with over 100 grand in tools in boxes half the size of this, i'd triple your estimate

  • whats the mortgage like on one of those?

  • I don't know but i think i would have 2 sell my house and live on it

  • @checkfoldcallraise both arms....and one leg!

  • sigh... i can buy a matco that covers less than half the amount of ground space, has 78000 cubic inches of storage, can actually be moved around the shop, and has drawer roller bearings that wont wear out on me as fast as that one for 30,000.

  • I can weld two "3 bay" tool boxes together too............ What's so special about this box?

  • what can't you store in there?

  • seems a bit silly but i would still like it!

  • that must be a bitch to roll around the shop!

  • LOL....I think it just gets "parked" and never moved.....I don't even move one half that size

  • $35,000 later...

  • yeah there some tools I'd buy for 35 grand.. It's called a bulldozer or a bobcat!!!! not a fucking toolbox!!!

  • Most people who don't do what we do can understand buying a $10k plus tool box.....I have been lucky enough to allways get back exactly what I paid for a Snap-On box....do you get that for a 5 yaer old used bulldozer???

  • actually its only $20,295 empty haha that's still a lot

  • Makes sense...twice the price of a good sized top / bottom set that's half as long and roughly the same storage space.....

  • !!!!!!!!

  • dude! 1 ton of steel. holy shit

  • I'm in love

  • Nice...I want one!
