According to High school rules, this commentator did not catch the first travel, just the second one. In high school, once a player jumps off his pivot foot and lands on both feet, that player may not move either foot.
i should have been more clear; you can remove your pivot foot from the ground as long as you jump off that pivot foot and then throw the ball in the air. but you can't pivot around on your right foot, then pick up that right foot and start pivoting on your left foot, regardless of if you place that right foot back down on the ground.
no, that's what you said. why would you ask where i got that info unless you were challenging me, aka telling me i'm wrong?
btw, if you're the type that purposely spells words wrong so they look "cool" or something, like exchanging all your s's for z's, and k's for c's, etc, then you're probably too young or immature to have a conversation with me. sorry, but that crap really gets on my nerves wen ppl start typn lik diz, azz if dey is retardid.
i can type how i wanna type...i dont need to be critisized by a guy named silent bob lol....wats up with the seriousness..cant we just have a civilized convo?...and the way u put that comment that says
u mean WHERE it really looks like u said pickin up ur piviot foot ISNT travelin
this is true. and i'm a big nba fan, of the bulls, and not sarcastically talking here. seriously, if you take 3 FULL steps, that's traveling, but the stars are allowed 3, and sometimes 4 (i'll be honest here though, rarely are they allowed 4, but 3-3.5, yes).
He traveled as soon as he made that extra step after the hop step. Then he traveled some more after he lifted his other foot. One word for this. TOUCHDOWN!

That travel is frickin' huge - he went up-n-down before his defender even jumped!

@riestere It's not just high school. That's the NBA's rule also if you look at the rules posted on NBA.com.

actually, picking up your pivot foot is traveling; you don't have to set it back down.
