that's very interesting that you would ask that - - now that I think about it -- she does seem to be lip synching. BTW- it would take nothing to have a track playing with her vocals pre-recorded and then drop the track so that she can ad-lib. So in other words, she could lip synch through part of the song and sing "for real" at the end.

Absolutely not for this song because you can tell from watching this performance that a lot of things that went on during this performance were not planned! So no, ALL of this was real for sho. There's not even potential to put a track in with this song for this type of setting because they definitely would've gotten thrown off with some of them not coming on in on time with their parts, they would've missed the mark of the track. The CLark Sisters are naturals!

I agree with BabyGregg, I don't think there's any lip-synching. Jacky has an especially soft voice, so sometimes it's easy to lose her part. I'd also mention that the CD version of this song cuts a few parts. The sisters were really ad-libbing, deciding what vamps to do right on the spot. That on-the-spot creativity is why they're not always together but it still works out alright!
