  • I like it and bring back memories of the 70's, I first heard this song while I was on my back to Sembach AB, Germany, 1974-78 and later on Rhein-Main AB, 1978-80.

  • damn, my uncle copped this lp in 75 , it made me appreciate composition more and more

  • Isaac hit #30 in Billboard, 2-2-74. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • Just a lil' bit of JOY....from Mr. Hayes...

  • This is what we used to "Bop" to. Good for steppin' also.

  • I agree. the radio edit doesn't do any justice. I wish they put it on CD. the full song with the drums in the beginning. I guess I'm still an Issac Hayeshead after all these years.

  • The radio edit does not do it any justice. The lp version is about 15:55 long ideal for a 1970's theme party. Other information it was claimed this was a response to Barry White breakout hit I'm Gonna Love You.

  • i think this wuz one of issac hayes best soul songs. came out in 1973 not long after he made the music from shaft. this had to be in the top ten soul tunes from that year. i wuz going to high school and i had all my psychedelic lights in my room at the time.
