There are plenty more blocks with nunchaku than he showed. Watch Bruce Lee in "Way of the Dragon" for instance. And more can be worked out. Remember, a block doesn't have to throw the opponent off by 3 ft or something. A miss by an inch is still a miss. And you can stun parts of the incoming appendage with a thrust by the ends of the nunchaku.

Speed chux are crap for striking. Fighting chux are lethal(not a good thing). Nunchux are a great defensive weapon. speed chux wi a 1 inch string are not.

striking is much much more effective if you hold them at the bottom, your holding them at the top which will result in bounce-back and limits your reach considerably.

@MattChez True!! Thats what I'm saying. That bounce-back can hit your wrist or fingers too. These are speed chucks, they're for show and freestyling and being fancy. Not for use in actual combat. Real nunchaku weapons can crack your skull open with one shot!! Speedchucks don't really hurt too much. Rattan speedchucks don't hurt at all.
