  • I'm surprised at the quality of this print, usually the original titles are have some redding all over them (Example, Daffy Dilly).

  • i love this tune better then the original! and why is everybody asking if this opening is a merrie melody or not? it doesnt really matter

  • You or this colelctor have to give/lend these prints to WB so they can use them for the upcoming Blu-Ray set. And thanks for uploading them for all to see!

  • Well, that wasn't even anything.

Who hasn't seen a Loony Tunes opening credit sequence a million times?

  • WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?

  • who would ever give i a silly idea like that the video i nothing i mean who cares about the opening what abou the cartoon

  • Uplode the hole episode!

  • I love this Title Theme Version so much! I used to rewind it over over over and over again!!!

  • The merry-go round broke down!!!!!!!!!!

  • dumb ass

  • What DVD does this opening come from?

  • It doesn't come from DVD sets- it was a hi-quality shoot from an original print owned by a collector. That's how many of these original titles are discovered....

  • If only Warner Bros. had found this before restoring this for their DVDs.

  • Don't worry about WB. As soon as their DVD's are sold out, they'll re-release it all on Blu-Ray for everyone to buy again.

  • HOLY SMOKE! I never thought you would have original opening titles to some Warner Bros. cartoons! Do you have anymore? If you do, could you please post them here?

  • Does anyone have this whole thing?????

Please post it... I've been hunting for it forever!!!!

  • I'm confused... Is this cartoon a Looney Tunes or Merrie Melodie? On the golden collection DVD it has a MM opening with blue rings (but a LT ending with the same green rings as here) but it says everywhere on the internet that it's a LT cartoon. I wonder if they put the wrong opening on the DVD...

  • It's really a Looney Tune. I'm amazed the version on the DVD is still the Blue Ribbon one when the real once clearly still exists. I have no idea where DJLarryT got this from.

  • The blue-rings Blue Ribbon version in from the second release from, umm, 1957. When it was originally released in 1949 (it was copyrighted in 1948, hence the MCMXLVIII) it had these rings. Warner Bros. were too lazy to restore the rings of some films, as they, unlike the older ones, keep the credits even in the Blue Ribbon edition.

  • This one is from Daffy's sort of "in between" period where Chuck Jones was transforming him from a cheerful screwball into a greedy jealous hothead.

Jones's re-imagined Daffy is funny as hell, but I like the earlier character better, and sometimes I resent that Jones just sort of went and changed Daffy, a well-established character, on his own (the other directors were a bit slow to pick up on the change, but eventually they followed the example).

  • In the 40's or 50's there was a slower version of the jingle, could you post it? Preciate it.

  • This was one of my favourite Daffy Duck Cartoons, can ANYBODY PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE POST IT UP?!?!?!?!?!!?!

  • Yes, there used to be the whole thing but I think someone took it down. Can you post it?

  • could u post the whole thing?
