At this point, Ishida is approximately as strong as Bankai Ichigo, although not when he goes Hollow Form. Just my opinion anyway.

In the soul society arc it it clear that ishida would always win vs ichigo if it is a serious match. Since ishida had the option to go to quincy final form. after that its clear that ichigo has become much stronger now that ishida has lost the advantage of becoming final form.

@mortaljokes Uryuu has gotten a lot stronger as well though, I think you forget. Maybe not as strong as Ichigo, especially if Ichigo has gone hollow, but still pretty strong.

Nop. As much I don't like Ishida Uryuu, I must disagree. Ishida has one great advantage over ichigo. Not strength but his quincy ability to read reishi and detect spiritual pressure, and speed (not if ichigo goes bankai ) Ichigo would win but not in less than at least 10 minutes. Ishida would make he gets out of his sight while he can find Ichigo anywhere, he would use SeeleSchneider on the surrounding area in the meantime to strengthen himself and his arrows.but Ichigo always finds a way

Well Ishida knowing, he would either use his imense Quincy speed to dodge, and fire off an arrow elsewhere. Ichigo would rush in again with the same tactic. Ishida would use everything he's got. And knowing him with his new fancy bow he can fire of 1200 arrow rapidly. Leaving ichigo no choice but to do a getsuga tenshou to counter. And flash step behind Ishida when ishida dodges and flies off to another spot. Then Ichigo would indeed strike him with the fatal blow ;)

By the way, Ishida seems to be a pretty cheap character, or rather, he seems as though he could be used cheaply in this game, with his ability to annoyingly pester you from outside your reach with arrows and spawn helpers to block you (the unmoving arrows)... but I understand that it is hard to make this kind of character in a fighting game without them having the ability to be used cheaply by projectile spammers.

That would be cool, but then he'd end up being way overpowered, since those attacks in 'Super Quincy' mode are totally killer. If you mean he'd keep that look but revert to his old attacks, maybe, but that'd seem kinda weird to me.
