Yes, that is what happens in this chapter as it was based off of Unlimited Blade Works from the Visual Novel, which was composed of three different alternative stories.

This Movie is based off of the "UBW" route from VN

I don't think it would be a series since to the Japanese an anime series seems like "the last" form of media that comes out of a product. It may likely be a movie or a series of movies because of it's length.

@gamer4ever9999 each arc symbolizes a journey into adult hood, fate is the state of a child, UBW is an adolescent, HF is an adult. Or so, according to Nasu, that's what he was going for. In Fate, Shirou relies on others and has an unflinching idealistic view of the world, in UBW, he's much more self-reliant and contemplative of his philosophy. HF... well, I won't spoil it.

@Yemetha I agree with you completely. But animation when released to DVD, bar Poke'mon, Yugioh, and others that appeal to younger crowds, Japanese, with English subs is included. Its not like Fate is any way for children considering its basis of eroge visual novel. The TV series release was Subbed, and the game Fate/ UC was subbed too. Dubbing cost too much money when the fan base is small. Unlike the rest of the world, Fate has a huge following in Japan.
