  • It is nearly impossible to do all the exercises in six minutes without stopping. I've only been using it for about two weeks and I've already noticed a difference! But if you use it wrong your forearms will hurt so bad! I couldn't sleep hardly for 3 days they hurt soo bad, maybe i just used it too long i donno. Just a warning don't use it too long 6 minutes is enough!

THE SHAke weight are for people who dnt want to get up and go to the gym or dnt have the time to do it..its not to build muscle as they say its just to keep the arms and half of the upper body toned if it is already in that shape.. I brought my own and used its 6min workout dvd twice a dday everyday..i felt the burn during the workout but i did not gain any extra muscle to the current physique i already possess! okay so there u have it ..a first hand user with first hand experience

  • this don't work.. maybe add 1lb a year but what if pro bodybuilders that curl 100lb or press 500lb shake this shit and expect to gain better than traditional dumbells? They probably got this idea from the myth that masturbating is making your arms huge

  • The same device, used in the same way can make you massive body-builder if you are a man or a skinny supermodel if you are woman. That totally sounds like true :-)

    If this device would charge phone or AA rechargeable battery it would be more useful than a log, or regular small dumbbell that you can shake as well.

  • Product is PURE BULL SCHIT ... it is not automated at all .. you're not actually holding onto a device that oscillates back and forth on its own -- you are shaking it -- under your own power... you may as well stick to free weights --- if it actually was powered by an oscillating engine ... and you just held on to it...there would be more benefit to you and your muscle tone, than you just shaking it on your own, because the effort you put in, doesn't pay back enough benefit

  • @xkruulx LOL i can't!! i mean i use a 30 lb dumbbell for my exercises and pushups and situps. i am not strong or buff at all. i am not athletic and i was toothpick skinny when i was a kid, i am 38 now, and been exercising for 3 1/2 years now

  • It's funny that the client is using this equipment under supervision of a professional, and he doesn't even correct her form. Then shortly thereafter, the camera does a close up on how not to use the equipment (as demonstrated by the client.) I wouldn't trust a trainer's opinion if he doesn't care to supervise proper form.

  • OMG she isn't even close to using correct form, elbows out and lock your wrists! I would recommend this especially if your looking for definition, adding mass I would go traditional dumbells. But for the price it's a good piece of equipment to own!

  • The Shake Weight does work if used correctly. I have the 6 minute workout dvd and I can never finish it. I'm only on day 3 but still. My arms are on fire everytime. And there is a reason why the trainer wouldn't want it to work. HE WOULDN'T HAVE ANYONE TO TRAIN ANYMORE!! duh

    With all isolation exercises your suppose

    to stay as still as possible when doing it so

    the particular movent can isolate the muscle

    of focus. The trainner knows that and he let

    her doing it wrong on. How can anyone really

    say something doesn't work if they haven't tried it? Of course you'll have to do it like any

    exercise routine to see results.

  • My friend said that it kinda toned his arms up a little, but all the other exercises didn't do anything. All and all, maybe this would be a good product for the older scene....but if ur already used to weight/resistance training this product is a waste.

  • Looks like noisy, and I started working out with 15 pounds dumbells, I don't think this thing is going to replace them, I can shake a dumbell too and isn't noisy. Also, in Mexico the shake weight is more expensive than in USA :/

  • Don't expect this to give you huge muscles(guys) or tone your arms like a fitness model. Good nutritional intake and traditional exercise is the key. I would use this as a warm up or post workout routine. BTW The older lady was not doing it right. You're not supposed to shake it like maracas.

  • @cwalktalk1 I would use it as an additive. Nothing beats a pair of good ole dumbbells. You can do multiple exercises with a pair of dumbbells. After a while you have to change the routine so the body doesn't get used to the same repetitive stuff.
