Man I have such contempt for Priest lately. I guess the thing that bothers me is the American Idol thing and the Private sessions where they play the hits. God forbid they would do Hell bent for leather or Rapid Fire. Then they just can't stop promoting this greatest hits package. Who cares who picked the songs if we already have them in our collection? Why don't they re-release the Live and Rare compilation:live B-sides. Now that's a hard one to find! That's what the fans really want, right???
Hey judas priest guys, we (THE FANS) want more old material too, and not only this kind of releases, we (THE FANS) expect more rare audio/video from the 70´s, 80´s and 90´s, i mean, you are always saying that there is nothing in the vault, but c´mon you guys, there is plenty material from almost every tour, how come we (THE FANS) can find it, but you can not, there are bootlegs (audio and video) with great quality that could be release, if you want to find them, just ask it to a real FAN
Seriously guys, KK is great, Ritchie Faulkner isn't necessarily as good (I don't think he's half as good), but let's remember that he's still a good guitarist and, the chances are better than you. He's better than me, I'll tell you that. And even if you disagree surely you can't deny that, with Glenn, Scott, Rob and Ian still there Priest is still a great band.
@kornjubi And of course we've yet to find out if he can compose as well. What I like about Glenn and KK (KK especially) is that they mix skill with a certain amount of wildness and emotion (KK's solo in Victim of Changes on the British Steel anniversary DVD, anyone?). I'm not sure Faulkner has that, but then I haven't seen much of him... That's another thing, I wonder if Faulkner will help with the composing... A lot of Priest songs have the Downing/Tipton/Halford credit. Anyway, we'll see...
@LadyLynd sorry dude but judas priest are Rob, Scott, Glenn and Ian...no its only a man...i love KK but dont like player the guitar whit the priest¡¡¡¡
@14JudasPriest Part of their High Voltage Festival performance was filmed and broadcast on British TV. You can probably find some of it here on YouTube.
