Give it a year or two, I GUARANTEE you they'll start taking down video clips too. Downfall parodies and Hitler Rants will vanish because the studio they were shot at doesn't approve them. I mean...they lose so much money off of people making these parodies and advertising the film right? Infact...it doesn't even matter that these parodies inspired me to go see the real film. Needless to say I loved it...

@mozarttheraver123 within a year of the videos being taken down the few people who saw it will practically forget it existed, and also with the video down no one else will be subjected to learn about that movie from a popular source, and since they wont know it existed it cant compel them to watch the actual film. videos only spread and get more views, thats more and more advertisement for the original work.

YouTube is a buzz kill. No one is making money off of the music. I once heard a song on a video and went out and bought it. Thanks YouTube for being DIKS. Maybe another website will pop up and you will pop down.

fuck you. i was with you 100% until you got to the torrents. the same thing that happened with online music is what's happening to you: record labels were out of touch, saw the internet as a passing fad and did not capitalize on the medium. as a result, users pushed the paradigm forward. don't blame us - they did the equivalent of sticking with 8-tracks. THAT is why they are making desperate grabs in their death throes to take "their music" back from your videos. if you can share it, so can we.
