What is the release date on the flash player? Though it was suppose to be out by the half of this year...

its august 30, 2010 and there is still no flash player available for the Palm Pre, not even a beta test version. Its funny how the Froyo (android) got it before WebOS even though WebOS was more optimized for it. Great, i got the phone for this reason and really i would rather just switch to an android running device.

whats all the fuss about html 5? IE6 cant run it, and besides flash doesnt have all the X-Browser problems that html has. WE NEED FLASH ON PHONES.

Im sorry i removed one comment when was going to press the reply button(sorry about that), but actually now I'm giving pictures and video recorder more importance than games, actually for games one phone only will be good for me when they add the phone service to the psp...lol, surprised they didnt do it yet...lol

when i had my Pre, It was said till the end of the year of 09, as of now, nothing out yet, hopefully in the first quarter of 2010...

but I ended up selling my palm pre and buying a Htc touch pro 2(also sold), no I have the samsung instinct hd, pretty amazed with the HD... movies and pics are really impressive...

I was, but i just got tired of the pre cause the battery was sucks... but overall i liked that cell...

yea - lack of battery life seems to be the most common complaint. i heard that the last software upgrade made the battery life better. i'm still rockin a samsung clamshell (old school!) but Palm is gonna speak at the Vegas Tech conference tomorrow, and if I like what I hear about Pre improvements I'll prob get a Pre on Verizon

@andrehendrik I have a friend that really likes the palm pre, but he walks away with an extra battery in his pocket... though he only uses the basic of the phone... talk and text....

Adobe flash working on the palm pre is going to be great. There are so many things that developers will be able to do with that.

they that video took hours..I dont believe that,,,my palm pre usually did not have a good battery life... now using flash ....oh god... lol.... can you imagine...,,, I think thats why they did not released it yest...

Exactly, just look at the time from the beggining to the end, starts around 5:30 and ends around 2:30.
