  • haha this is awesome, man. thanks!

  • TETRIS!

  • where do you press to hear the sound?

  • Not bad!

  • @ElevenMantra: the commodore64 is good dude, I make awesome musik on it.

  • @Malatia7575 Yeah you need a interface to stop that shit. Its fucking annoying

  • Dude the onlly problem with these vsts is that as soon as you start to make complex chords in your arrangements, no matter how powerful or memory your pc has, it will start to freeze. Same problem if you load like many say 5 intances of such vsts, your daw starts to slow down . TO be brief, so heavy and discouraging to make professional complex music compositions. I don't know if you have same problem, however there are a few vst which are quite light, still with high quality sound, not many.

  • @malatia7575 Time to replace that commodore 64?

  • melody is Dj CaptainCrunch<3

  • @MrN30N1X melody is tetris

  • @GieraryHirr i realize that now, i was thinking of Dj Captain Crunch's Forgot About Dre ReVamp.

  • Don't add white noise to the sound, it's the white noise you want to eliminate. Also, kick some Chorus in there and surprise yourself. :)

  • Pretty basic, you might want to add some modulation

  • TO LET YOU KNOW!! THE BEGINING OF THIS VIDEO IS EXACTLY LIKE TETRIS

  • @xXxGrlmxXx Doctor P - Tetris check it out

  • Good vid tutorial, xlt job man.

     Make us some more.

  • i found it useful, cheers!

  • it wasnt that great

  • I can do this in the 3xOsc in about 15 seconds

  • @Goldbloodeddragon not really, 3xOsc has not got the same unison as this, but I recon you can get closeish

  • @Jannto You'd be surprised. ;)

  • Epic!!!! Thx Man!!!!

  • lol where's second 1:31

  • this, my friend, is 92 seconds. you, are a liar.

  • russian melody, AKA the tetris song! lol I had this on a red vinyl

  • @Rentazg that's because it is.

  • One WORD.... Awesome! Thanks

  • when you change the pitch of the oscillators, you are not adjusting by 10 semitones either way, you are adjusting by 10 cents. 10 semitones is almost an octave.

  • @mike8storm

    0.10 semites are 10 cents ;)

  • @amperaws correct. but in the video you say move this down 10 semitones while moving it down 10 cents. anyway i'm nitpicking.

  • @mike8storm It shows 0.10 open your eyes.

  • @amperaws

I thought semites were Jews and Arabs...

  • Awesome dude :) thanks a bunch

  • I followed all the instructions and its sounds much thinner, like not gritty at all. i think its because my original sound was different, i did what you did - hit " new sound" and the default sounds different. how could i get that simple saw sound at the beginning?

  • i tried it but mine sounded crap lol

  • @k2625299 HAHA that is hilarious yet would be rather irritating.

  • Слишком много высоких частот...sh-sh-sh. cut 6-10 khz

  • @k2625299 Yes, because we wouldn't want people to know how the sound evolves by the changes being made, now would we?

  • Lol I hear this sound everywhere from pop to dubstep finally I can make it thanks man

  • this is one of the most simplest and best massive tutorial on youtube!

    cheers :D

  • lol if you wanna hear the original tetris (dubstep) tune search up dream & dantini - tetris it destroys this, but this is a good tutorial :)

  • I wish all tutorial vids were this concise!! Good job!

  • i think the tetris song convinced me to craft this synth

  • coooool!

  • Neat. Massive is definitely an endless tool box for creating anything but yeah, was always curious as to how to get that nice Super Saw sound.

  • a synth should sound good w/o any effects ;)

  • secretsounds co uk - a network for users to find/preview/download presets that sound like your favourite artists for free

  • what program is this

  • @DustinDolby Native Instruments Massive

  • @DustinDolby This is a plugin called NI Massive.

You need to use it in a host program such as Fruity Loops, Ableton, Cubase...

Hope that helped you out :)

  • Thanks very much. Got it first time. I'm of the no sound till the end, point of view. its a great surprise. true it doesn't help us lot as much this way but still it was a real treat. thanks man. eagerly awaiting your next one.

  • Hey , where i put play ?

My program does not play any song...

  • very helpful, thanks!

  • nice synth

  • HELL YEAH. I've always wondered how to make this kinda sound. EPIC.

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • scooooter!!!!!

  • dude, very nice , maybe play the sound as you go through the video, to give an idea of how each parameter changes the sound.

    keep it up its awsome!!

  • nice!

  • check out ed cox's tetris theme tune. breakcore in ya face!

  • omg tetris

  • lol @ tetris

  • tetris?

  • soo how do i get massive into FL??

  • Drag the plugin into your vst folder

    (E.g. C:\windows\program files\VST plugins\)

Then open fl and click channels, and click more, then fast scan :)

  • got it ..thanks bruh

  • 1. Buy it. 2. Install it. 3. Use it :)

  • lol at number one..

  • you should make that it would be so fuckin hilarious

  • i snuck a "rick roll" into a remix tutorial i did by putting it into the final version track, lol!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lol scratch that,

Just make a vid with you just tweaking loads of params, then when you play it its just a clip from a bush speech

    Lol

    x

  • That's an excellent idea! In fact, you should make one where the title says it's an FL Studio tutorial, but when you watch it, it turns out to be ten minutes of a black screen!

  • +1 that would be fun!

  • hahaha

  • Dude that was sick. That reverb did the mean damage. Great work.

  • hehe, jeah!

  • @amperaws

    lol nice

  • yeah great joob

  • WIKKID!~!

  • hey man, people who disagree that ur vid isnt that good are not being careful about what they say. lol i mean no offense to anyone but ur video is great, i believe so because ive actually gone through ur procedure and with a little fixing here and there i had a powerful saw lead in less than ten minutes. so thanks man and i appreciate ur help.

  • hehe, that was cool. props

  • put your hand in the air!!! ....if you like trance......

  • question- to what extent can this rival a virus? no comparison or indistinguishable?

  • no comparison with a virus hypersaw. You still need to pay big money for a hardware sound. This might change with another few years of CPU and development, but at the moment softsynths just can't do hypersaw like a virus

  • Thanks for the advice!

  • Comment removed

  • depends on your audio interface

  • Damn that patch took 25% percent of the cpu!!!! Was a fat saw tho...

  • We Want more!! :))

  • Sounds alright. but i don't think that Massive is the appropiate plugin for it. Again, this is just a matter of taste.

  • THIS IS MADE OF WIN!

  • GOOD JOOOOOOOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks. good vid

  • VERY nice! It took me a couple of tries, though. If I could make any suggestions, I'd say hit the sound a few times between each step to let the viewers see the progression of the sound, and to make sure they're doing it right along the way.

  • OK! i will make soon a new tutorial :)

  • best tutorial I have ever seen! :P
