hey basically when i play my massive ni on its own to make a wobble for dubstep it sounds fine but when i play it whilst playing with the actual beat and strings and piano it sounds realy weird like no wobble or dubsteppy sound just like a whistle kinda thing please help :(
Dude the onlly problem with these vsts is that as soon as you start to make complex chords in your arrangements, no matter how powerful or memory your pc has, it will start to freeze. Same problem if you load like many say 5 intances of such vsts, your daw starts to slow down . TO be brief, so heavy and discouraging to make professional complex music compositions. I don't know if you have same problem, however there are a few vst which are quite light, still with high quality sound, not many.
Could you possibly make a tutorial on recreating the lead sound from Cliff Coenraad's "Massive" (the synth that comes in at 2:24 not the sound at 2:09)
when you change the pitch of the oscillators, you are not adjusting by 10 semitones either way, you are adjusting by 10 cents. 10 semitones is almost an octave.
I followed all the instructions and its sounds much thinner, like not gritty at all. i think its because my original sound was different, i did what you did - hit " new sound" and the default sounds different. how could i get that simple saw sound at the beginning?
Thanks very much. Got it first time. I'm of the no sound till the end, point of view. its a great surprise. true it doesn't help us lot as much this way but still it was a real treat. thanks man. eagerly awaiting your next one.
That's an excellent idea! In fact, you should make one where the title says it's an FL Studio tutorial, but when you watch it, it turns out to be ten minutes of a black screen!
hey man, people who disagree that ur vid isnt that good are not being careful about what they say. lol i mean no offense to anyone but ur video is great, i believe so because ive actually gone through ur procedure and with a little fixing here and there i had a powerful saw lead in less than ten minutes. so thanks man and i appreciate ur help.
no comparison with a virus hypersaw. You still need to pay big money for a hardware sound. This might change with another few years of CPU and development, but at the moment softsynths just can't do hypersaw like a virus
VERY nice! It took me a couple of tries, though. If I could make any suggestions, I'd say hit the sound a few times between each step to let the viewers see the progression of the sound, and to make sure they're doing it right along the way.
haha this is awesome, man. thanks!

Don't add white noise to the sound, it's the white noise you want to eliminate. Also, kick some Chorus in there and surprise yourself. :)
TheFourdrinier 5 months ago
Pretty basic, you might want to add some modulation

Then open fl and click channels, and click more, then fast scan :)
